She repeatedly said “it’s for security that the hotel doesn’t give out guest information”. What information? I have his name! A simple yes or no was all I was looking for. Ridiculous policy. I called back and talked to the GM; she said the same thing. They clearly have no customer service experience; I worked for Hyatt Hotels and this would have not have happened when a person on the phone has the name of the “guest”.
