My go to for when I have work related trips to Louisville. First time staying and definitely will be back. They go above and beyond with an emphasis on comfort. Incidental hold is a reasonable $25. Room was clean, breakfast was good, and the rewards program Hilton offers can’t be beat. Really impressed with this location. Thank you for making my work trips a breeze without having to worry about a long and risky 2 hour commute on the interstate and highways with very unpredictable weather and drivers.

This could be a higher rating but the things that dropped it is this.
Seems very understaffed for two hotels together.
We booked this hotel because it looked like a great swimming pool and nice area.
The area is nice. The pool broken down but not told to online booking guests at the time of our booking.
We planned to go swimming as a relaxation weekender trip.
We find that the pool is down. We first was told it was down since last week. Then I was told it’s been down for MONTHS!! This did not say this anywhere on the hotel website before booking. I was told that they have tried to get that updated from corporate but it’s not happened. I would not have stayed here with that information as this was a needed relaxation trip.
For two nights the garbage cans on our hallway were not emptied. And was overflowing! This is not acceptable!
I seen one man doing cleaning and maintenance and was there day and night working his tail off. He needs a raise! He’s the only one we seen working the hotel cleaning etc. there was separate breakfast girls who deserve more pay. They do fantastic!
Our water had to be shut off so we got a call woke up my husband who was napping. I just got out of the shower thankfully!
Our tv wasn’t working correctly our first night well but was worse the next day. So no pool and no tv. We called about the tv that same man who has been seen working his tail off come to work on our tv. Changed out 3-4 boxes and was there over an hour and the TV still wouldn’t work. He had no other issues like ours.
So now no water, no nap, no pool no TV. It’s becoming comical
I wasn’t directly asked at departure how our stay was. So I asked if it was notated in the system about the tv and was told no. So then was asked if we called and had someone come look at it I said we did! He was there over an hour swapping out boxes and none worked. She’s who we believed took our call. Whoever it was seemed short on the call when we called down but had been super friendly all other times. She told us she would add points to our account. It was too late to refund us anything. Well the points don’t matter it’s our money and time that matters. If she didn’t document maintenance issue then I’m not stressing to see if the points was even added.
I know it’s not too late to refund or real compensation but I didn’t ask for it. Trying to leave on a good note.
It was our relaxing time we were trying not to ruin it.
These are things that need corrected.
Breakfast Sunday was very good but Monday was even better. The breakfast here is one of the best complimentary breakfasts we’ve seen traveling.
We were greeted well by the lady at the front desk and the one man greeted my husband but when I walked into view he never acknowledged me but that’s okay. I was a ways behind my husband at the time.
Guests leaving garbage outside of their room is tacky and gross but probably because the trash cans outside was full but there is garbage cans in the room and a large one at that. So what gives? Guests need to do better too!
We didn’t realize it was a pet friendly hotel but our room was very very clean. We never seen maid carts or services the whole time we were there. But it was clean in our rooms!
The cigarette butts outside in the landscaping need attention at the front and what’s up with people parking up on the sidewalk up front what is up with that??
Even thought this sounds very negative, the beds was super comfortable and we slept very very well. Room temp was great and glad no motion sensor on units. We could be comfortable for once in a hotel room!
Do note. The home 2 suite side has been renovated. The photos online at the time of our stay was not updated. So the room didn’t look like what we thought we were getting. But it was better!
If some of these issues would have been brought to our attention before booking or taken care of this would have been a 5 star stay.
Knowing about the pool we would have probably booked elsewhere as that was one of the things we wanted to do on this trip in the evening.

I booked this hotel primarily for the indoor pool, but it was closed for renovations and I was never informed during digital check-in.
My room was extremely dirty, and staff repeatedly told me to speak with a manager who was never available. At checkout, the front desk dismissed my concerns and refused to view the room.
Additional issues included loud noise with no response from staff, poorly stocked breakfast, and long waits for basic items like utensils.
This experience was far below expectations

10 cars broken into and staff didn’t help at all. They were actually as rude as you can be. Luckily we have video footage of vandals because hotel doesn’t have cameras most likely inside job. If you love getting your windows smashed and stuff stolen stay here. We are pressing charges.

The young lady was sweet at checkin and provided all the information I needed.
This is a Home2Suites so I thought I was at the wrong place when I got dropped off. But, the hotel is two in one. 😁
The room is clean and not fragrant which my allergies appreciate!
