  We stayed here on a recent business trip. The lobby was clean and the staff was easy to work with. The hotel was full for the week. The room was not real clean when we checked in and I had to ask for towels to be delivered after we did not receive the daily room service. They did not perform the room service at any time during the week. The breakfast was good.

  I would definitely stay here again! Good location for Downtown! Loved the building! Buffett for breakfast to be honest, it could be better.

  This must be the nicest Embassy Suites I have stayed at (and I've stayed at many!). I spent three nights here and my review is... From the location, to the restaurant, paid valet parking, the rooms, amenities, the cocktail reception and the complimentary breakfast---everything is flawless and I have no reason to complain. All the staff and amazing and work incredibly hard to serve and maintain the facilities. The lady at the evening reception (Mary, I think) is super efficient as is Aditya manning the omelet station at breakfast. The location is excellent, on a street with at least eight fine and varied restaurants. If in downtown Louisville, this is certainly the place to stay!

  I stayed at this hotel for two nights during a work trip in Feb 2026. On the second morning, I woke up with multiple bites on my arm. Within hours, they became severely inflamed, blistered, and infected, causing significant swelling of my entire arm. Per my doctor’s instructions, I went to the Emergency Department due to the severity and unknown source of the bites. I was ultimately diagnosed with bed bug bites, which were traced back to my stay at this hotel. After learning this, I contacted the hotel immediately to report the incident and requested to speak directly with a manager. I called several times over a 5-day span and each time, I was told a manager would return my call. No one ever did. The complete lack of response is unacceptable. Further research revealed at least three to four prior reviews within the past year reporting bed bug infestations and bites at this property. Despite management publicly stating that they “prioritize cleaning to the utmost standards,” these repeated reports — along with my own experience — strongly suggest otherwise. A hotel has a fundamental responsibility to provide a clean, safe environment for its guests. In this case, not only was that responsibility neglected, but basic accountability and customer service were also absent. Failing to return repeated calls from a guest who required medical treatment as a result of their stay demonstrates a serious disregard for guest safety and well-being. I strongly advise others to consider alternative accommodations. There are many other hotels in the area that take cleanliness, safety, and customer service seriously.

  Great hotel, a lot of complimentary services such as the breakfast, happy hour and shuttle. Our room was huge, larger then some apartments I have seen. Amish was a great shuttle driver, trusted him with our life. Definitely would recommend if you are staying downtown.
