  We had a great stay while in town for the Equip Expo. The booking and customer swevice was super helpful. Went above and beyond for our group. The hotel and the rooms were spotless. The pool was clean. The food at the restaurant inside was great. Me and our group ordered all different meals ajd everyone was happy at dinner time. The morning buffet was great, food was quality and my server was super sweet! She took good care of me. I am a hotel snob and my sister has beena crown plaza member for some time and she was right. Crown Plaza is a win! And you can reat assure it will be worth it. Highly recommend!

  This hotel is not worth it even though you are so close to the airport. Pick one 5 minutes further so that you can get a decent night sleep. There was a KY YMCA event that had students everywhere yelling in the halls or in the conference room connected to the room until midnight. The room next to us had a dog that was barking multiple times during the night. We could also hear every word they said. Our room had no body wash or shampoo, the trash was full, towel had stains, and the bedding isn’t large enough to cover the mattress. Thankfully there was a throw blanket in the closet to at least allow two people to have some form of blankets. The thermostat doesn’t go below 68 degrees.

  As you can see, there seems to be more negative than positive comments. That is detrimental for a business! Corporate had better get their hotel completely renovated and investigate why the cleaning staff keep screwing up or having the lack of caring. "Three times, your fired!" Policies are in place for a reason, and if policies were not followed, there would definitely be a major problem that would need to be fixed promptly. Major improvements better be implemented or else the hotels demise will be inevitable.

  I would like to thank Crown Plaza Louisville shuttle driver James and front desk agent Lalit for their help and kindness during our recent trip through the Louisville airport and stay at the Crown Plaza. Their rescue of my wife and I reaffirmed our belief that Kentucky is a beautiful state with wonderful caring people.

  Ok, so I will say right off the bat that I am a little partial to this place because my company has stayed here every year for a number of years, due to a specific event at the Expo Center across the street. I stayed there before their recent renovations, during the renovations, and after. The update was long overdue, but I still loved the place either way. Now, if you're looking for 5 star rooms with a Michelin Chef on staff and luxury accommodations, I don't know where you might find such a thing in this specific area. However, if you are looking for nice place with very decent rooms and good services all in one place, the Crowne Plaza - Louisville Airport location is a great spot. Their staff has always been very friendly and helpful and their little newly updated market at the front desk is very much like any other hotel. It has most of the essentials and e en some treats. They have a bar within the hotel that also sells pastries and coffee in the morning for those on the go. If you're looking for a full, sit down breakfast, the restaurant downstairs is ready to serve you a multitude of menu items. (Omletts, pancakes, breakfast combos, skillets, etc.) If you just want quick & simple, you can opt to enjoy their breakfast bar that has eggs, waffles, potatoes, sausage, bacon, oatmeal, and many other hot items, as well as cereals, pastries, other bread types, lots of good fruits, and other breakfast items. After breakfast, the quaint little breakfast spot transforms into a great place for lunch and the later gets into full swing as a 2nd bar and good place to have dinner. You can choose to sit in the bar area, the main dining area, or even outside on their patio where they feature fire pits and heaters when it begins getting chilly outside. Their housekeeping is seemingly always on duty because they are there in a moment's notice should you require anything. They also have on site security who will also show up at a moment's notice when you forgot what code you used to lock the safe in your room in the middle of the night. Oops! When your stay is over, no matter what day or time your flight leaves, their shuttle service will get you there quickly. Since this hotel is so close to SDF Airport, even if you miss the shuttle, it will back in literally 4 minutes. Again, I love this place because it kind of feels like a home away from while we are working across the street. I think you'll like it too, whether it's for one night or a week.
