  My wife & I recently stayed 3 days at the Origin Hotel in Lexington Ky. On the second day we requested clean towels and had been told none were available. The next morning on the third day I called and requested towels again and again none were made available. As we proceeded to check out we requested to speak to any of the hotels Management team to inform them of the towel situation and as you guessed it NONE WERE AVAILABLE! I then requested a member of management call me. The receptionist stated a member of management would call us and she then provided us with a small $80 credit off our bill. No one from the Origin Management team ever called us. I later personally reached out to the hotels manager and explained that we would have really appreciated having clean towels for the 2/3rd’s of our stay there or had access to someone who could have had corrected the issue while we were there. I got the impression from the manager that the small credit somehow excused the situation. For me personally I would have much rather have had the piece of mind of knowing when I check into a hotel and I have an important appointment to attend my wife and I can count on a hotel to provide us with clean towels to take a shower and a member of management to address issues like this when they arise then a $80 credit. If a member of Origin Hotel reads this I have a proposal for ya how about I give you back your $80 credit and you buy some towels and keep a member of management on location for the next guest after me! Thanks

  This hotel is absolutely beautiful. It is in the best location in Lexington in the middle of walk to shops and restaurants. The beds were so comfortable and the staff was amazing. Emily at the front desk was very friendly and knowledgeable. We. We’re here due to work but will be back for pleasure

  Room 207 During the first night we had to pack up and move from our 5th floor room to a second floor room due to an overwhelming sulfuric odor. First morning no coffee 2nd morning cold coffee. No matter what temperature we put the thermostat on we could not get it past 70 degrees and the room stayed drafty and cold. Showers were hot and the staff was pleasant.

  If you’re staying at this hotel and see Ginger behind the bar, cancel your plans. Whatever you thought you were doing tonight is now irrelevant. Ginger isn’t just a bartender—she’s the unofficial therapist, tour guide, hype squad, and drink-making wizard of the entire building. I came down for “one quiet nightcap” and somehow left with a perfectly mixed cocktail, three new friends, and a deep emotional bond with a bowl of bar lemons and limes. I watched her handle a businessman, a bachelorette, and a very confused man all at the same time. Not one wrong drink. Not one spilled drop. I’m pretty sure she runs on espresso, sarcasm, and pure hospitality magic. (Might even be god sent) At one point she slid a drink across the bar so smoothly I checked to see if the counter was slightly downhill. It wasn’t. She just has that kind of power. 10/10 drinks 10/10 service 10/10 personality 11/10 reason to stay at this hotel again Honestly, the room was nice, the bed was comfortable—but Ginger was the real five-star amenity. If she ever left i would never come back.
