  This is possibly the nicest Holiday Inn I’ve ever stayed in. It’s a newer hotel and kept very clean. Large king size bed with nice comforter and coverlet, proper king size pillows on a king bed which is rare in a hotel. Nice chaise in the room and good size refrigerator with micro as well. Breakfast area is large and clean. Hot eggs, bacon, hash browns or pancakes and cinnamon rolls along with other breakfast breads. Nice coffee machine that grinds the beans for each cup. Really a delightful little place. Dog friendly as well!!

  We booked through CLC and had no problems. Large truck parking lot right out front. Clean, safe, and comfortable. Amazing water pressure in the shower. Fantastic breakfast. We'll definitely be back when in Franklin!

  This has always been our go to hotel when visiting family in Franklin but this trip may be our last. First time we stayed 11 years ago, it was great and the few times through the years have been as well. This last time, not so much. Staff at the check in were friendly at least. But our room was really stinky when we arrived, just had a funk about it the whole time. Every time we left and came back, it would hit us when we walked in. And last weekend when we were here, they were FULL and had no more rooms available. They only have one ice machine for 3 floors of people so the Saturday we checked in, ice was all but empty. But same with the pool area, just had an unclean smell about it. Hot tub was not warm. We stayed 2 nights and the morning we got up to leave, my husband’s eye was crusted shut and blood shot - not sure if it was pink eye since he spent like 2 hours in the pool with our kid the previous day. Thankfully his eye cleared up in a couple of days. Also, breakfast time is busy, I get that, but came down at 9:15 and all the hot food was gone and they weren’t putting out anymore even though breakfast goes til 10am. We are probably going to try a different hotel next time we come through.

  Very convenient to get to off i65! Super clean, beds are comfy, breakfast is really good and the staff is great!

  Absolutely saved the day on 3/28/26 when our attempted stay at the Hampton Inn across the road blew up completely (hotel under major renovation, moldy rooms, faulty electrical, unusable bathroom). There were 3 tournaments in town in the Bowling Green area and every room from Franklin KY to Elizabethtown had no availability. I called the Holiday Inn Express in desperation and she was able to secure a room with 1 king bed -- my son and I decided we could build the pillow wall between us and share it for the one night. By the time we got to the hotel from the Hampton Inn, about 5 minutes literally, the 1 king was gone, but a room with 2 queen was released by someone looking on the website and the two ladies on duty at the desk managed to lock it in for us. I will ALWAYS recommend Holiday Inn Express!
