Other than the hotel being under construction for renovations, which didn't bother me, I appreciate the fact that they are making things better. The customer service for me was Awesome. Ms. Heather, at the front desk, was so incredibly sweet and so helpful. She definitely made the stay enjoyable! My room was great, the continental breakfast was good, the Waffle was my Favorite! I was within 10 minutes of everything I needed to do while in Florence so the location was great for me. I'll definitely be staying here again next year when I make my yearly trip to Florence!

The room and bed were very nice, however, since this location was under renovations, the outside lot was not tidy and it's access off the main road was a little hidden. The host at the desk was very pleasant but not clear on their pricing policy, ( I used my rewards points for this stay) she tried to still charge an additional $40. In her defense though the place is making major changes. All in all, a nice stepping stone to the south for our vacation. We will be back.

I recently stayed at the Best Western Inn Florence with my brother as we usually do headed to Florida. While I understand that the hotel may be undergoing renovations, I couldn't help but feel that it has lost much of its former charm.
One of the biggest disappointments for me was discovering that my favorite manager is no longer with the hotel. Her presence truly made our visit special creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere that I have fond memories of over the years. Unfortunately, it seems that only a few of the familiar employees remain, which added to the overall feeling of disconnection during my stay.
The hotel no longer feels like a homely retreat it once was. Instead it seems to lack the personal touch that made it unique. I hope that my feedback encourages the management to not only focus on renovations but also on restoring the hospitality that made this hotel a favorite for us.
Overall I look forward to seeing how the Best Western in Florence evolves but for now it feels like it has lost its spark.

This stay was meant to be a relaxing getaway and it ended up not being very enjoyable. The hotel was being renovated, which is great because it needs it, but it was very noisy and distracting. Broken furniture, carpet was disgusting, and the whirlpool was gross. I have never seen a whirlpool double as the shower. We did attempt to use the whirlpool and once we filled it up and turned the jets on, all kinds of gross dirt, film, and gunk came out. Needless to say, we didn't even get to use the whirlpool which was very disappointing since that was the main reason we booked.

During our recent stay while visiting the Ark Encounter with family, we encountered a mix of experiences at this hotel.
Check-in was less than pleasant due to the demeanor of a staff member covered in tattoos, who came across as quite rude. It was unfortunate, as this first impression set a negative tone for our arrival. I could understand his frustration, however, as we overheard a little Indian lady in the hallway, loudly demanding things from the staff and yelling at the housekeeping guy. It was distracting and felt inappropriate.
On a positive note, Jean, the housekeeping staff, was exceptional. She genuinely cared about our comfort and took the time to ask how our stay was going, which was greatly appreciated.
The young ladies managing the breakfast the next morning was also wonderful. The breakfast spread exceeded our expectations and was a delightful way to start our day. I believe their name was Carrie and Rianna.
Overall, while there were some staffing challenges, Jean and the breakfast team made our experience more enjoyable.
