  When booking we were guaranteed a bottom floor room since we had our dog. I expressed the amount to pay was much less on hotels.com. The gentleman I spoke with stated that they could guarantee a first floor room if we just purchased with them for much more of a price. Once getting to the hotel we found out the entire first floor was being renovated. I would've honestly put less stars for services but the kind girl that was working the check in upon arriving was honest and apologized for the false information.

  This location is just about perfect for me. But the best part about this place is the comfortable mattresses, soft absorbent towels, & the great water pressure. This place is the paradigm for Best Westerns everywhere.

  I booked a two-night stay here back on March 18th through my credit card company. My stay was this past weekend (April 18th-20th). So it was booked a month out. The morning of my check-in I get an EMAIL. Not a phone call or even a text, but an email. Said email informs me that due to renovations (that started in NOVEMBER) my room was not available. So instead of the whirlpool king suite I WENT OUT OF MY WAY TO FIND I get a double queen. Lovely, great way to start my birthday weekend. Hindsight being what it is, that might have been the highlight of the hotel. After being told my room was downgraded, I was also informed because I booked through a "third party" they couldn't even comp me the difference. Things continue downhill from here. It takes the staff 15 minutes to check me in because their system hadn't been updated with my downgrade. After calling the manager it gets sorted. Next thing, the keycards. I guess it's totally cool to need to make THREE sets of them to get a working pair. Nothing like three different stops at the front desk. Oh and because of said construction the ice machines are out of commission and require MORE trips to the front desk. I lost count of how many times I had to go there. There is construction stuff EVERYWHERE. See pic. Just crap stacked and laying wherever. Oh and I'm also very glad neither me nor my wife are sensitive to latex paint because that smell was EVERYWHERE including OUR ROOM! Speaking of the room, the layout was perhaps one of the dumbest ones I've ever encountered in a hotel (and I've stayed in a lot of hotels). I guess that's a minor annoyance at this point.... Oh and another room point. The dumb accent lighting on the front of the hotel BLASTED through the window of our room ALL NIGHT and the curtains didn't block it all. And because might as well just throw more onto the pile. Whoever is renovating this place is perhaps the most incompetent contractor I've encountered. I mean, the light switch in our bathroom was upside down! Just to top of this truly terrible stay, the breakfast was lukewarm AT BEST! I ate two bites of sausage and threw the rest away. We went to McDonald's instead. Whoever owns/runs this place does NOT belong in the hospitality business. HARD. STOP. I hope BW corporate sees this because I'm going to be canceling upcoming stays at other hotels if this is who you let franchise these.

  Breakfast was good, renovated rooms were great. came in late at night ready to get off the road and I’d say it was worth the money. front desk lady Jaylyn was helpful in getting us checked in. me and my wife will definitely stay here again I would say it is kind of hidden off the main road that’s my only complaint. the lady that checked us out in the morning was also very pleasant. good beds, nice food, & a amazing staff!

  We (wife and I) stopped for an overnight on our way from NY to Gulf Shores, AL. We were looking for a clean, convenient, reasonably priced room for the night and the Best Western in Florence, KY provided that. Remodeling is ongoing, but our room was MOSTLY done. Some trim around the AC was missing and there were a couple of odd blobs of construction adhesive dried on the bathroom floor. Speaking of the floor, all vinyl plank, no carpet, and clean. Beds were comfortable. The bathroom was also clean, but the tub seemed narrow. Not a big deal EXCEPT for the fact that the shower curtain was too close when showering. All in all, we had a good night's sleep and would recommend. Just remember that this is an older hotel undergoing renovation.
