  I was forced to stay here after my flight to Chicago was diverted to Cincinnati. This was one of two options offered as a voucher by United (this should tell you all you need to know about the quality of this hotel). The shuttle from the airport was so rusted out I was worried the floor would fall out with our full group of guests and luggage. The staff at the front desk were nice but incredibly slow at processing our vouchers. There was a lot of people but it took us over an hour just to get up to the desk and there were many people behind us. The hotel itself seems to be in renovations but is incredibly dated. The worst part was that after an incredibly long and awful day of delayed flights and traveling, we couldn't even take a shower. There was absolutely no water pressure AND no hot water to be had. We tried at night (around midnight by the time we got checked in) and again at 6:30am. No water pressure, no hot water. The bedding was clean and the two full size beds (not queens) were fine. Overall this was a day from hell and this hotel made it worse. Would not recommend for anything. I have included photos of the incredibly long line to check in and the clock in the room for a reference of how dated the hotel is.

  We stayed here overnight 3/6/26 waiting for an early morning flight on 3/7/26. My In-Laws booked the rooms, we had 2 next to each other on the 3rd floor. The beds were horrible, the rooms were hot. The food from the restaurant in the main lobby wasn't great. It was difficult to find a place to park, There are improvements that need to be made, ride to airport was about 7-10 mins that was the only positive.

  The rooms were clean. The hotel has clearly been going through renovations since I last stayed. They've made great progress. However.. Their plumber is going to get them sued. The water goes from cool to scalding, and they installed flow master toilet systems and connected it to hot water. Which will destroy the flow master and cost a lot of money on energy. McKenna’s Restaurant, do not waste your time. Nice Irish name, but nothing Irish about it. A really good burger and dark Guinness you’ll not be getting. It’s a burger from whatever mass producer they buy from. The breakfast was better than McKenna’s. Good food and other shopping is restricted to the gas station across the street. (That’s a joke.) Eat your dinner elsewhere before going to bed or you’ll wake up hungry. Thats my experience. When I saw the burger on someone else’s plate, I knew it was not like in their photos. I didn’t waste the money. The conversations of others confirmed my suspicions. The location is good if you’re trying to be close to the airport. So, it’s great for spending the night, that’s it. Hopefully, they will keep improving. The staff was very friendly.

  The absolute best thing this hotel has going for it is the dining room server Tennessee. She was a gem that was the light to the end of a bad hotel experience. Her hospitality is infectious and kindness a jewel. This hotel is outdated and needs substantial update. A friend attempted to purchase from the vending machine and lost $8. She was told by the guest counter she would receive her refund in the morning. However, when she went to inquire about it the next morning the tyrant at the front desk told her absolutely no, that she couldn't take money from the cash drawer and the manager would be in after our departure. Rude reception and horrible parking. This was definitely a one and done.

  I had a great experience at Holiday Inn Cincinnati Airport by IHG. The front desk check-in was super fast and smooth. The lobby is beautiful — they have a fountain right in the middle that gives it a relaxing, welcoming feel. It’s very convenient that there’s a restaurant located inside the hotel, and I was able to easily schedule my shuttle for the morning, which made my travel plans stress-free. I may even take advantage of the business center printer before I leave, which is a nice added perk. They also offer a pool and workout room for guests who want to use them. Overall, it’s a comfortable and convenient place to stay, especially if you’re flying out of the airport. I would definitely stay here again! On the 7th of March in fact!
