  What a great place to stay for our road trip stop! Our kids loved the pool, and I loved the clean rooms and helpful staff. I was especially impressed by the breakfast team. They were so kind and helpful while managing a less-than-considerate crowd. We will definitely be back for future trips!

  DO NOT book at this hotel. Even when you cancel more than 30 days before you stay, they do not refund you and keep your money. If you are in this area, STAY SOMEWHERE ELSE as the manager at this hotel does not show empathy or understanding a non-controllable situation and did not even offer a solution.

  We arrived at 4am, checking out at 11am, the manager charged us $378 far exceeding the standard room rate and justified herself by telling us room rates are variable based on demand and compared them to fuel prices. We took a room you were not going to profit on and you took full advantage of a family to exceed your profits for a 7 hour stay. It doesn’t matter how nice your hotel is, everything still comes down to how you treat people at the end of the day and this was absurd.

  Stopped with family after driving on vacation, we drove as far as we could then called at 4am and then were told the room rate would $287 per night which considering we were staying from 4am-11am and they wouldn’t have booked that room anyways was crazy, but we were tired and decided to stop anyways. Once we arrived we had 3 sleeping kids and the price was all of a sudden $100 more per night, yes $387! The receptionist said it’s like gas prices “supply and demand” even though the chances of that room booking after 4am were very slim. They also hit us for another $28 charge I need to call about… $420 a night is insanity for staying less than 10hours. I am done with Holiday and their garbage policies. Back to Hilton for all my business and vacation, they treat customers right. I hope they can experience 3 tired children and just need a bed to crash in then someone price gouges them once. Congrats you lost a customer for life.

  I wanted to take a moment to share my experience during my stay at this hotel. While traveling, I ran into some unexpected car issues, and this property was recommended to me by the dealership. I’m really glad I took their suggestion. What was originally planned as an overnight stay turned into a few extra days, and the staff were incredibly accommodating and genuinely kind throughout my time there. They made a stressful situation much easier to deal with. If I ever find myself in Elizabethtown, KY again, I’ll definitely be staying here.
