Amber and "Slim" in the restrauant/bar were great and friendly as well. All the staff had a "family" approach to running the hotel which is becoming rare.

Clare was able to move us next door so we didn't have to miss football. And, she brought us a warmed extra blanket. The staff we dealt with were very nice and helpful. There were plenty of breakfast choices. The cinnamon roll and sausage were the winners. We would recommend avoiding the scrambled eggs.

It was more expensive on the website for that but guess what, we ended up with a sofa bed. The ice machine on our floor didn't work. Behind the bedside stand is the power strip which was covered in dust. Breakfast is NOT free at Holiday Inn's. $10.95 for the same stuff you get at Holiday Inn Express for free. The shower was terribly gross along the sliding door track. Body lotion in the shower and no body wash either. The pillows were lumpy and not good. The curtains didn't close all the way so light still got into our room. Wouldn't book again and we are members too!
