  I really enjoyed my stay at the Best Western Governor's Inn Wichita on my way down to South Padre Island, TX and liked it so much I also stayed here on my way home. The rooms are modern and nicely appointed with a comfortable bed, small refrigerator and microwave. Additionally there is a great barbecue restaurant right across the parking lot and the nice staff at the front desk put my ice packs in a freezer overnight so I could keep perishable items cold in my coolers for my trip home, I will be back!

  Friendly helpful people, good service. Good breakfast, nice rooms enough blankets, to keep warm with, and clean rooms.

  Disappointing stay marred by $100 "ghost" charge and poor management I am writing this review to warn future guests about an experience that was not only financially frustrating but handled with a surprising lack of professionalism. Upon checkout, I discovered a $100 charge on my bill for "missing towels." I did not take any towels, yet management flatly refused to issue a refund or provide any proof of the loss. Coming from a customer service background myself, I am well aware of how these situations should be navigated. A standard, professional response involves: Active Listening: Acknowledging the guest's perspective instead of immediately adopting a defensive or accusatory tone. Resolution: Prioritizing guest satisfaction over a questionable $100 charge, especially when no evidence is provided. The manager I spoke with was completely unwilling to engage in a productive dialogue, which is a significant red flag for any hospitality establishment. It is deeply disappointing to see a business choose a small, short-term gain over the long-term trust of its customers. I strongly recommend travelers double-check their final statements before leaving this property. I will be escalating this matter through my credit card's dispute process and reporting the incident to relevant consumer protection agencies.

  Our 3rd time staying here and the rooms are nice. The breakfast is wonderful with lots of fresh food.
