Our all-suite hotel is just 4 miles from Washburn University and the Kansas State Capitol and 15 minutes from the Kansas Expocentre. The lighting was also really bad. Like staying in a Walmart or hospital. Details and it ruins the atmosphere. I unfortunately would not go back.

Then my mom’s room had a toilet that leaked through the floor so she had to move rooms. The shower took about ten minutes to heat up. The staff was super nice and apologetic. The hotel just needs to be updated and renovated. The rooms were nice and big. The pool area is nice and the exercise room was great. That plus the nice staff made our stay!

You can hear the traffic from the freeway. A far cry from the Hilton in Overland Park I transitioned from for my business trip. Very disappointed.

It didn't feel like the room was worth the over $200 I paid for a single night. The breakfast was average with eggs that I think came from powder. I think they could step up their game a bit. I did let the front desk know of the room issues before I posted a review. I do like the convenience of this location as I travel on I-70 all the time. The area has a lot of options for dining, and it's a safe area to be in. I have stayed here before and have had no issues, and will probably stay again, just needed to let the staff know of this particular room.
