  Plan a great meeting here for 200+ people. Chuck, his team were very responsive and helped us put on a great show. I don’t expect things to go as planned, but I do expect to quick response responses when needed. Anything that came up, I was able to reach out to Chuck and it was taken care of. I can’t tell you how much I appreciated this. I would certainly book this hotel for another meeting. We use the whole space including the lobby area, which was recently remodeled and the KC elevate space on the eighth floor. These were great spaces and provided an excellent venue for hosting our event.

  Angela, Ryan, and Josh were the best part of the whole hotel! So personable, reliable, and incredibly sweet! After every day we were here we couldn’t wait to see these three to tell them about our day and get to know each other more. We’ve been around and these three individuals are the DEFINITION of what it means to give people the time and service of their lives during there stay. To Angela, To Ryan, To Josh, THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING! You make this hotel so wonderful!

  So I was looking to book here and I've gotta say, I'm really curious why your site says it's $203 for a night, plus $32 for taxes (which should be $235) but says the total is $274? Where's the extra $20 coming from? And if you won't be transparent about fees etc, why should I trust you about anything else? I have the screenshot for anyone doubting this

  I stayed there a few weeks ago on our annual family vacation. The food was delicious as well as service in the restaurant. The room was ok needs to be updated. The front desk representative Angela was definitely a breath of fresh air and went over and beyond. Everyone should have an Angela to represent their company. She sets the bar high. However we did notice a couple things. The way she was treated by 2 guys at the front desk was not ok one was with blond hair and another with an accent. We witnessed the one with an accent threw his hand at her while she was being helpful and she took it with a smile on her face. Another time my husband came to the front desk. He said he watched before approaching and the tall blonde hair guy was being disrespectful towards her and again she just smiled. I hope this isn’t normal behavior that she has to endure working there. I hope she enjoys the flowers my family delivered to her.

  I have recently begun traveling more for work and every trip it seems like something goes wrong and this trip was no exception. However, Angela at the front desk was so welcoming and kind. After a long stressful day of travel complications landing in a comfortable place to rest was such a blessing. Travel issues this time were vehicle related and I was stuck at the hotel for the night at that point. The restaurant and bar are bright and updated, the food was great and the service was even better. Olivia was also so kind and friendly while they got my order ready. Next time I am in KC I will staying at Holiday Inn & Suites Overland Park.
