- HLHeather LeonardOct 15, 20255.0This hotel is one of the nicer ones I have stayed in recently. The room was clean, no bedbugs. Lobby and hallways were also clean and well kept. The room was a little musty on first impression but the heat was set at 73, so turning on the air conditioning took care of the issue. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful, pointing me to a nearby running trail. There is a pool but no hot tub. The fitness center has nice dumbbell weight set, treadmills and bikes. It says it is open 24 hours. Pool closes at 10pm. The only thing I didn't appreciate is that they turned the breakfast bar into a "service" type diner. You cannot get your own beverages but otherwise it was a mediocre breakfast sampling, with oatmeal, yogurt, bagels,muffins, watery scrambled eggs, sausage, and I think cereal. There were no waffles. They give you a breakfast ticket thing but otherwise they charge $12.95 for the meal which is way overpriced. I would stay there again for a work trip or if going to the nearby medical facilities.

We were asked what brought us to town and my husband told the man working at the desk (Stephan) about our son’s surgery in the hospital near the hotel. When we got up this kind man had written us the sweetest note in a card wishing for a successful surgery for our son. Little things like this remind me how many good people are in the world. Stephan is one of them. His heartfelt note was just what we needed!
