    As an avid traveler hotels usually make or break the experience I have. I am pleased to say that my stay at this double tree made my vacation in manhattan outstanding. The room was nice and clean, but what really stood out was the staff. The guy who assisted me I believe his name was Robert was very swift and helpful in getting me to my room. All the questions I have were answered by him with the best attitude and provided me with great service whenever I requested. Will definitely recommend this to family and friends who decide to come out here.

    Robert and Marquette made this a fantastic stay! The room was exceptional and very clean. This is now my go to place when I stay in Manhattan due to the outstanding service from both Robert and Marquette.

    So disappointed with our reservation tonight. My daughter book the presidential suite for my grandsons birthday party back in September of this year. When we arrive tonight we were told that the room had just been given to another person with a birthday party. They evidently lead the front desk to think they were my daughter, but couldn't provide their confirmation info & began throwing such a fit in the lobby that the customer service rep gave them the room. When we arrived to check in, the girls at the front desk were so sorry & tried to make things better. They did give my daughter 2 adjoining rooms & a discount, but it was not the same by far. I feel that the lady that lied or barged her way into our reservation should have been made to move, not for us to just settle. Just really disappointed that upper management would give someone's reservation away like that.

    We spent one evening at the hotel. The lobby was very nice, the hallways with the rooms was rather rundown. The rooms though were very nice. The only bad part of our stay was the the room would not cool down and it was 30 degrees outside. We set it to cool and 64 degrees to sleep and it never went below 71.
