  We are extremely disappointed with how a serious sanitation issue was handled during our stay, especially on Christmas. A young child in our room became sick and vomited on the floor. We cleaned what we could and contacted the front desk three times before anyone answered. When someone finally came to the room, they arrived with only towels and a small linen bag and stated they “don’t clean that” and did not have any disinfectant or biohazard cleaner. When asked how the hotel would normally clean a room if a guest was not present, the employee became dismissive, said she would call management, threw her hands in the air, and walked away. While I briefly left to purchase proper cleaning supplies myself, I decided to leave a video chat up on my IPad because her attitude worried me leaving my belongings unattended in the room. While I was away I observed the staff member enter the room and wipe the affected area with a dry bath towel, which is completely unacceptable and unsanitary. Only after I returned and repeatedly asking did she return with some type of spray cleaner. The room still smells like vomit, and at no point were we offered a room change ; even though the hotel appeared mostly empty. We no longer feel comfortable staying here and will be finding another hotel for the remainder of our holiday. This situation was stressful, unsanitary, and handled with a lack of professionalism and care. I would not recommend staying here based on this experience.

  This seems to be a well-run hotel. It’s clean, the staff are friendly and helpful and there are some nice touches - good coffee available 24/7, the breakfast seems well presented, pool and hot tub are ok and there is a Walmart and a target right by it. Only downside was the gym is very small.

  Facility as a whole is pretty clean, no complaints there. It's the little things for me like the hole in the wall that they just hung a piece of matching wallpaper over, the trim around the a.c. that's not attached to anything, the actual hole in the wall behind the bathroom door, the bathroom door that doesn't always lock. Things should be fixed as they come up not when they pile up. The pool and gym are very small at this location which was a little disappointing. Edit from 4 stars to 5. Within 12 hours of my review being posted the took action and repairs each item I had mentioned in the review.
