Just have to come on here to give a shout out to the staff for being so wonderful and so kind. Tiona (hope I spell that right) is absolutely wonderful. There was an issue with hotels.com reservation and she was so helpful despite all the technical difficulties. I ended up booking directly thru the ihg website and got all settled in. Tiona has an adorable laugh as we chatted about how frustrating hotels.com was for both us. Alas.
The room stay was exceptional. Clean. Walkable to so many nearby restaurants and a great stay.
Moments like this is why certain hotels attract so much business. Due to friendly staff. Highly recommend this location!

We were traveling with our volleyball team and this was our stay and play hotel. When we arrived on Friday night, there was a mix up in rooms. Tyson, the front desk personnel went out of his way to ensure we were put into a room and were comfortable. He handled the situation very well. Would stay again.

Beware of illegitimate charges and a corrupt manager who accused me of theft without proof; I wish I could leave 0 stars. I was charged $123 for "stealing pillows" which was more than the night's stay. The window shade was jammed - I couldn't get it to pull down. I do not like sleeping with light in the room, so I put pillows from the 2nd bed in the windows to cover the light (3 pillows, 1 was left on the bed). When I left next day with the Jansport backpack and potted plant I came in with, as I dropped off the room key I kindly told the manager at the desk she might want to look into the shade as it's jammed. She smiled and said ok. 5 days later I noticed the charge. Confused, I called; the receptionist explained the pillow situation which I denied; I asked to speak with a manager and was told I'd get a call back. 11 days later I realized nobody called me so I called; spoke to the manager however she adamantly refused to refund me this charge despite me explaining the situation and wrongful charge; she dismissively said she couldn't look at the charge or do anything about it anyway as their computers were down so she'd call me back; no return call. When I happened to be in town 12 days later, I went in person and spoke to the same manager again explaining the situation and wrongful charge. I asked for proof e.g. camera footage showing I stole the pillows; her response was that they did not have cameras up at the time. And this time she said it was 8 pillows I stole vs 4. I asked her how I could possibly fit 4-8 giant hotel pillows into the Jansport backpack I brought in. I wondered why, supposing I did steal them, a thief would notify the front desk hotel manager the morning of the crime asking her to inspect the room I just stole pillows from. She was unrelenting and unmerciful. I called corporate who advised all hotels are independently managed and all they could do was patch me to the hotel manager. I did the same via online chat and was told the same thing. I am.a nurse, I work very hard for my money, I'm an honest citizen who has never stolen anything. If the pillows were in fact missing, there's no telling who stole them. I find it very disheartening that I would be considered guilty without proof. I'm never staying at a Holiday Inn Express or otherwise again.

This hotel is a great location . However, is under construction which they should discount hotels when they are. The elevator is very slow. And we had key issues several times during our stay which was inconvenient because we waited so long for the elevator by the time we got to the room then have to go back down.
Rooms are clean . Bed is comfortable. Breakfast was ok.
