  A great stay in Great Bend. Although a bit older, this hotel was clean and had great service. Both the shower and sink had VERY good water pressure and the provided toiletries were nice quality (all of the products were Dove brand). I appreciated having a microwave and mini fridge in the room. Both worked well and the microwave seemed almost new! The only downside was the sound of the other rooms’ ac units. Throughout the night, you could hear the other ac units turning on. It wasn’t very loud, but it was loud and droning enough to be distracting while trying to sleep. The other downside with our in room ac unit is that it was not able to be run continuously. Also as a note, the pool was closed during our stay. Service, both at the front desk and in our room was great! There was a very large selection for breakfast, which was appreciated. Breakfast included pancakes, cinnamon rolls, assorted breads, bagels, and muffins, biscuits and gravy, some kind of breakfast meat (we had bacon one morning, pork sausage another morning, and another sausage a different morning), potatoes, scrambled eggs and/or omelets, oatmeal (both packets and ready made), assorted cereal, fruit (apples, bananas, oranges), assorted Oikos yogurts, boiled eggs, milk, various juices, and toppings (salsa, peanut butter, cream cheese, regular butter, etc.). The location of the hotel is very convenient. It’s within walking distance to quick service restaurants and Walmart.

  Very clean, quiet place to stay when in great bend. Have stayed other places due to avails and they were no where near as nice as holiday inn.

  We had issues with a third party booking site. We made the trip to the hotel to get things figured out in person. A little gal named Andrea was such a huge help. She was eager to help us get to the bottom of the issue with grace and professionalism. She went above and beyond to settle this the best she could for the issues at hand. Thank you Andrea for all your help.
