- CLCarmen Alicia LopezDec 27, 20255.0This is one of the best Holiday Inn Express Suites that we had ever stayed at on 12/26/2025 to 12/27/2025. The reception staff were friendly and attentive. The rooms were clean, the bed was comfortable and the breakfast was amazing. The staff that prepared breakfast at this Holiday Inn Colby Kansas are top notched. They made sure that nothing ran out like bananas, gravy sauce, bacon, cheese omelette, the biscuits were so darn good. They have a small fridge stocked with yogurt, butter, chocolate milk, half and half, two different kinds of cream cheese. They also had oatmeal, cereal and you could make your own pancakes if you wanted to. The plus of staying at this Holiday Inn was that a Walmart is only half a mile away easy to walk to. I highly recommend that if you go through Colby Kansas to stay at this Holiday Inn you will not be disappointed. ♥️

She and Dave in Maintenance, came to our room and lifted the mattress and box springs to locate our cat. It was above and beyond the call of duty! They were so patient and kind and eager to help! It was very much appreciated. I would definitely stay here anytime we are passing through Colby!
- BHBruce HansenOct 17, 20255.0Stayed there Oct 10-12 2025. Everything as expected. Room and service were fine. We hit the breakfast room at the rush, some people didn't have a place to sit. The Kitchen person was doing OK, but she had her cleaning towels and sprayer etc. permanently parked on one of the tables. She did this both mornings, so it's a habit. At rush, if she'd put her stuff in the kitchen instead, then that would have been one more table where people could sit. Some ended up taking their food to their rooms for lack of a place to sit. Sure, the building is not brand new, but it was well maintained, clean etc. I don't see a need to replace it, other than perhaps the company wants something bigger.
