  I was so exhausted from this week I didn't want to have to deal with it. Saw some stuff on the floor when I first walked in, grabbed some tissue to pick the more obvious up. The tissue in the picture is round 2 of picking up debris. Brought my stuff in and got my sanitizer wipes out that I always do for the sink area and there were hairs here and there... and even more in the sink. I cleaned that all off. More on the floor. I should have gone downstairs at this point to let them know and get a room, but didn't want to deal with that at that point. The sheets at least looked clean. I got out of the shower and went to charge my phone at the nightstand and there was a nugget of I don't know what on there. That was my breaking point. I was done cleaning that room and didn't trust the sheets at that point because whoever cleaned that room did not care AT ALL. I showed the guy at the front desk some of the pictures (some stuff I cleaned without pictures like the sink) and he changed my room for me. Next one was better. Both rooms also had very stained carpets. At this point hotels need to stop doing carpets because there are some nasty people out there who ruin stuff like that too easily.

  Very disappointing stay. The breakfast buffet was nearly out of food 45 minutes before it was supposed to close, and the refrigerator was basically empty in the morning. I had reserved a king room but was given two double beds because they didn’t have any kings left. The room smelled strongly of mold, and the TV had a broken screen that showed a blue tint on every channel, making it hard to watch. Definitely not worth the price and the worst Holiday Inn Express we’ve ever stayed at.

  I have the pleasure of staying here a few times a month. Whether you plan to visit Chanute for business or pleasure I highly recommend this hotel. Vickie (G M) and her team are polite, professional & friendly! The rooms are nice, clean, spacious & affordable. The breakfast is plentiful with multiple options to choose from. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

  I had a great stay at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites in Chanute. The hotel was clean, modern, and comfortable from the moment I walked in. The staff was welcoming and professional, always ready to help with a smile. The room was spacious, spotless, and well maintained with comfortable bedding and all the essentials I needed for a relaxing stay. I especially appreciated the quiet atmosphere it made it easy to rest after a long day. The complimentary breakfast was excellent, with a variety of fresh options to start the day right. The common areas, including the lobby and dining space, were well kept and inviting. Overall, this hotel provides great value, comfort, and service. Whether you’re in town for business or passing through, I would definitely recommend staying at Holiday Inn Express & Suites Chanute by IHG.

  Please, please please improve the cleanliness of the bedding!!!! This is the overall problem! Nobody wants to sleep in smelly stinky bit and this is the second room! There’s an issue going on with the frequency and effectiveness of laundry cleaning location. Smelly, dirty hair odor the minute I got near the bed with my nose, and this is the second room because the first one the minute I walked in the door was even even worse. When there was clearly a bedding odor issue, it needs to be addressed in such a big establishment as Holiday Inn! Hotter water better detergent could make all the difference! I will never stay here again.
