  Whatever you do, avoid this hotel. Dirty rooms with dirty/used sheets that tried to make it look like the bed was made, dirty bathrooms, trash on the floor. This wasn’t just our experience but many other families who were there also experienced this. Lots of us had to ask for a refund and drive home at midnight or find another hotel late at night after our kids competed that day. What a mess! One person was working on probably one of their busiest weekends with having KS State Gymnastics there. No cleaning staff. Nothing. I’ve never seen a more poorly run place in my life.

  We had the kids bunk room and stayed one night. There was gunk smeared on the front of a dresser drawer, the kids tv didn’t work or have dvds, the kids bed frames were gross, the sink was so backed up that turning the water on for a second stopped it from draining properly, the shower also had plumbing issues, and general upkeep of the state of the room was lacking. Clearly corners have been cut and not ones that are acceptable. The worst part was the pool was freezing cold and staff sent us toward the pool with two kids; failing to mention the heater was broken. The kids complained it was cold but after a few minutes of them still shivering, I checked and was immediately concerned about hypothermia. It took our 7 year old 45 minutes to warm back up after and that included multiple thick layers and blankets after getting him out. We asked staff for a thermometer to check the temperature but one couldn’t be found. Due to the fact that we were about 10 minutes away from calling regency services for our sons tiredness and inability to get warm, we opened a complaint case and tried to get in touch with management multiple times with no response.

  Good location. Have stayed a couple of times enroute to meetings. Easy in and out. Friendly staff. Good nearby eating options.

  The bunk room was a nice thought but the room was kind of in disrepair. My kids found an empty Gatorade bottle under one of the twin beds, there was sticker gunk on the frame of one of the beds and the TV only had a DVD player (no actual cable or TV service) and the front desk had no DVDs to loan out. Why even have a TV at all? The TV in the main room had spotty service and dint work 1/2 the time. The king mattress felt like we were sleeping on a piece of plywood and will result in a trip to the chiropractor to fix the damage that one night’s sleep on that “bed” did. The hotel needs updating and some new mattresses or at least a mattress topper. Not a great value and pricey for the quality. Not a great breakfast either and the pancake machine wasn’t on/working and the sausage gravy had a funny aftertaste.
