I’m in south bend for a work trip and every single day for the last three days, someone has come to my door ignored the do not disturb sign and woke me up anyway trying to get into my room… I work overnight so im up at strange times but once im awake that’s it for me, no more sleep… shout out to the maintenance guy who pounded on my door for 15 minutes straight when his request had nothing to do with me, working overnights on 3 hours of sleep wasn’t really what I had planned for myself but thanks for making those plans for me… Very frustrating, would not recommend.

Overall, we were not satisfied with the hotel. As a Hilton Gold Member, we expected more. First, when we arrived at our room, my husband checked the shower (based on other reviews he had read). The shower did not work. Why would a hotel give a room where they know the shower did not work? We were able to change rooms. The next room was large but not laid out well. If you watched TV in bed, you had to turn to your left to see the TV. Second, we went down to the hotel restaurant for dinner and there was no heat. We ordered our meal to go to eat in our room. Third, since we had to change rooms, we were given a complimentary breakfast. We had to wear our winter jackets to eat breakfast and the food was completely cold. We will not be staying at this hotel in the future.

My experience was very poor. When we arrived the front desk clerk was very friendly and very cold. He was wearing a winter coat, scarf and hat. After paying $235. For a room I was charged $15 to park my car. The parking garage was not well marked and kind of on the scary side. Then when we got to the elevator to go to our room an employee warned us that the garage was not safe to park in “lots of vandalism “ he said. When we went to bar for a cocktail the bartender was in winter wear and warming herself with hot chocolate. Very uncomfortable! NEVER will I stay or recommend this hotel. In a word TERRIBLE!

Well the room was clean, coffee maker was clearly broken! Breakfast was $18.00 for the basic hot continental.. Sadly homeless individuals walking around in the atrium asking for food and money.. It's hard to believe the hotel allows this to happen.

Lobby and restaurant are very cold. Some rooms are missing lamps or microwave. Housekeeping may remove trash and refresh towels, rarely make beds.
