- TSTammy Sabin5 days ago1.0Room was dirty, smelled of vomit, toilet did not flush properly, dirty socks left in dresser from previous guest. When I went to report the issues. I had to wait for 10 minutes to have someone find the desk clerk. I was not offered any compensation and paid $187 for 1 night in this hotels whirlpool room. I had asked to be able to check out 1 hour later and was going to be charged an extra $30 for that hour. I WILL NEVER STAY AT ANOTHER BEST WESTERN HOTEL!!!

The thermostats read 50-60 degrees because the heaters couldn’t keep up with all the windows letting cold air in. The pool water itself was rather cool as well. The bathroom sink outlets didn’t work in the rooms and the hotel called my cell at 1am but couldn’t explain why when I asked the next morning. Rooms were clean though so that was good.

The daytime manager and his wife were charming and immediately elicited a sense of comfort. Every evening, I relished the warmth of the pool. The sole minor issue was that the linens were somewhat scratchy, but this did not detract from the overall positive experience. I highly recommend this establishment.
