DO NOT TRY TO RESERVE A ROOM AT THIS ESTABLISHMENT! We reserved a room weeks before arrival and they refused to honor the reservation because they "overbooked" their rooms. We were offered and had to accept a room we did not want. The front desk offered to reduce our room rate which the GM would not honor. Aside from the night clerk the staff was rude and dismissive, including the GM. We have stayed here dozens of times but never again after the way we were treated this time. This hotel has sadly really gone downhill.

I hate that they allow dogs. I swear this place is more like a doggy day care. I wish they would not allow pets here. Beds are hard as a rock too. The milk smelled well expired in the breakfast area and juice was out. Truly a 2-star hotel.

It was an ok stay I only give it 4 stars due to our check in confusion we booked two rooms one was supposed to have a sofa bed and king. When we checked in the key wasn't activated so we went upstairs then had to go back down to get it fixed, back up only to see that there was one bed in that room so back downstairs to switch rooms. The second one did have a sofa bed which was insanely uncomfortable so thank God there was a king that we ended up sharing, that bed was comfortable. There are no vending machines just an area behind the desk is $3 for like one pop tart or a small candy bar or little bag of chips. The late night desk lady was sweet though and said she would give me a muffin or something since nothing around was open and very little selection. The staff is the saving grace. We may end up coming back however our plans on things we need will be better since it's not particularly available. I've stayed in multiple hotels in this chain and after staying at one in Carbondale expected something much better.
