    Stayed one night here while passing through. Clean, quiet and comfortable. The standard breakfast fare for a HIE - perfectly adequate. I'm not sure if it's my imagination, but I didn't find the bed quite as comfortable as the usual HIE beds. Was fine though, just a little former than my preference.

    Hotel was clean, breakfast comprehensive, and multiple staff members, especially Anthony, went out of their way to be kind, helpful, and accommodating when we were dealing with late checkouts due to a family funeral. We really appreciated their assistance, flexibility, and understanding.

    Bed bugs! Stayed here and saw bed bugs. Manager has not returned any phone calls and it has been almost 3 weeks. I got there late after a long drive and just wanted to get some sleep with my 2 young children. We checked in and were there for just under an hour and went to bed and got bit by a bed bug big enough to see. It looked like a tiny tick and moved super fast into the pillow case. We immediately packed our things and told the employee working. He offered a new room. I declined and left and he said I would get a full refund. Manager never came in until 4 days later. I had to call back several times to finally get a hold of manager Anthony but he said no refund because HE didn't see bed bugs during the day, 4 days later?? Ok...so don't risk your health as they have no plans to fix the problem and have no problem with stealing money from a family that apparently just paid for an hour stay and paid for bed bug bites. Thankfully I found a clean hotel down the road 20 minutes that we stayed at.

    BED BUGS!I checked in here in room 305 on 12/18/2025. I checked out approximately 1 hour later after going to bed and getting bit by a bed bug and seeing the bed bug with my own eyes. At first it looked like a tiny tick but it moved so fast into the pillow case when I shined my phone light on it that it definitely was a bed bed. No doubt what so ever that's what it was. The employee that was working was VERY apologetic and offered me another room, which i declined. He said he understood and would make sure I get a full refund and that management would be contacting me. Management has still not reached out to me. 5 days later I called (today 22nd) and spoke to the manager Anthony. There was no apology and no reason why he hadn't called me to get this matter resolved or anything. I think they're hoping it will just go away. Bed bugs are a huge health concern. So far no refund and no action for the bed bug problem to be taken care of. The health department has been contacted since no one reached out to say that they were at least going to take care of the bed bugs. I feel horrible for anyone that doesn't even realize what they are sleeping with there. Also they keep the lights on in the room for when you walk in, makes me wonder why seeing that's unusual for any other hotel I've stayed at is completely dark when you walk in at night. I just wanted a good night sleep after a long 7 hour drive with a 2 year old and 12 year old and instead no rest at all. I ended up staying at a hotel 20 minutes away but it was still hard to get some sleep because I was too shook up from the bugs. I am still frustrated that management is not taking this seriously and didn't even contact me about the issue. I just saw another review from 6 months ago that also experienced bed bugs in rooms 321 and 323. This is repulsive that they've known about this for so long and still do not have it taken care of. There are also other bed bug complaints for this hotel on other review boards. Please do not risk your health by staying here! UPDATE 12/29/2025 STILL no contact from management or resolution 11 days later. I once again had to reach out for an update and manager said he looked for bed bugs and didn't see any so no refund and that means there won't be treatment for bed bugs so they'll continue to populate and put people's health in jeopardy. I wanted to contact corporate and he gives me a Gmail email so definitely shady business. He would not give me a phone number for corporate either. I found a number on my own but still waiting to hear back.
