We had a 4 night stay here. The first 2 nights were horrible. A lot of basketball teams were staying here & kept us up till 3 in the morning. We called the front desk but nothing was done. The coaches should have been made to control their teams or made to leave. If we caused this trouble, they would have asked us to leave. I realize they had a large part of the hotel rented but we paid to have a restful night. Also, I’ve never stayed in a hotel that didn’t have a refrigerator. Our last night here, we ate at the restaurant. We were told there would be a 15 minute wait because there was only 1 server & she had tables inside & out. 45 minutes later I went to the desk because all of the igloos outside had left & inside there was only 4 people at one table. They said they would have to talk to the server because she had said something about going home. They finally seated us. It didn’t take long to get our food & it was good. A very bad experience during our whole stay.

Husband and i went for new years eve. The room was NOT provided with a working phone, tv, or shuttle service to casino. After explaining to front desk the phone and tv, before leaving for casino that evening. Nothing was done about it when we arrived back to hotel at 1am. We ended up getting an uber after hearing the guests at hotel have been waiting over an hour for shuttle. Also, re explained phone and tv issue when we arrived back to hotel. At about 3 am maintenance started knocking on door. At that time we were already trying to sleep and told him to go away. The bed was hard , pillows had no support. Was a restless night. Sucked we couldnt watch the rose bowl parade that morning with no tv. Was definitely ready to leave hotel.

Stay was ok check in was fast room was ok. Breakfast however not so good with the lady that oversees it. I was dipping my food she came out of nowhere and told me I had to pay $18 per person as they are closing. I was there long before she even came out to the breakfast area as I was leaving it was 10:33 needless to say she was one of the rudest people I’d ever met and told me to have a Happy New Year. We paid $400 for a room with free breakfast and this is how you’re treated prior to leaving. Love this area but wont be back to this hotel as it’s a shame you have people working for you that fake their nice when really they are rude and obviously she was in a hurry to get out of there, didn’t seem to care.. sad shame I really didn’t want the cold picked thru breakfast that bad anyway but the point is no one should be that darn rude at their job.. I was here last year and walked away thinking that she was rude in her actions and words to another couple but I didn’t know the whole story well this year I got it first hand she needs an attitude adjustment and she needs to understand that paying customers like me keeps her a job..

We knew about it not having a pool, but no gym and no refrigerator. The room was half cleaned during our stay with one bed made with the sheet on the outside of the comforter and the other bed not touched. The towels always looked dirty. If you choose to stay here and get the river view, be prepared for bells ringing every hour on the hour. For a Hilton property we expected better. After speaking with locals we learned that it is managed by the same company as the Hollywood casino. On checkout the clerk never asked about our stay, or I would have told her. We visit family regularly in this area and will never stay there again.

We stayed here on a Thursday-Sunday in November during the Holiday Shopping Expo. I accidentally left my iPad in the room when we left on Sunday. I received a text and email last week that they found my iPad and offered to mail it to me. It was an easy process, they use a 3rd party to manage the transaction. I received my iPad last night, well packaged and in perfect condition. Thank you Double Tree staff for your service…we look forward to staying with you again in the Spring!
