I asked that room service would not come in my room and they did anyway. I will not be coming back to this hotel and I do not recommend it for other people.

The rooms were not throughly cleaned, linens were stained, hot breakfast was unavailable, and worst of all, the cleaning staff barely cleaned our room (see the attached photos of our room after it was “cleaned”). They didn’t even tidy up the beds! Just replaced the towels that we had used. Extremely disappointing experience.

Terrible experience. We are staying here with a 4 year old and my wife is pregnant with a second child. The first room we checked into (Room 517) l, we found a big adult bed bug crawling on the wall (please see picture attached). We immediately called the front desk and after waiting for some time they switched us to another room, which was not the cleanest either (hair all over the bathroom, wax on the main table, cracks in the walls...). Then I went downstairs to get some water from the vending room and they had run out of all water bottles in the entire hotel! Since we are traveling with a 4 year old and my pregnant wife, I asked for an empty water jug from the kitchen that I could fill in from the water fountain but I was told by the front desk personnel that they cannot access to kitchen stuff! I repeatedly requested but it was to no vain. Since its late and we have a sleepy kid and a pregnant lady, we have no other option than to somehow just spend the night here. Praying bed bugs don't show up in our current room.
Really terrible situation. If you are traveling with family, especially with kids, please refrain from staying here.

I have always thought this was one of the premiere hotels here in Lafayette. After my recent stay. I can say anything but. First off the pricing is to high for what you get. Not even a single bottle of water in the room. Lets start with checking in. There was one dude who was impossible to hear. Who was ranting about the computer and having issues. He made it clear breakfast was served but not included. Another thing that is ridiculous. After checking in and going up to my room on the 5th floor. I was unable to get in. Having to go back to the front desk twice to get my key replaced because clearly the man didnt know what he was doing... and didnt even apologize for the fact that I had to come back down twice. Then theres the room. Nothing fancy at all. The decor was fine I suppose the bed was comfortable enough. However the amount of crud and filth. Was just absolutely not acceptable. Especially for what should be considered as a nicer hotel. The floors were dirty. There was water stains on the ceiling and the wallpaper was literally peeling and had water stains dripping down it above the toilet. The bath tub was clearly never cleaned properly. Hard water stains and crust on the faucets and corners. It did have a wheelchair accessible seat but god forbid you use it because it literally had black mold growing on it and clearly had never been cleaned. Needless to say had I not just driven 15 hours for work and it been snowing like mad. I would of asked for my money back and went to the motel six. At least the place is clean and for the cost you could stay for 3 nights for what this place costs. Highly disappointing. I dunno what they are doing but ive stayed in many of the hotels in the greater lafayette area. Just down the street is the Hilton and for the same cost you get so much more. Do not recommend . Your better off with the red roof inn. Holiday Inn will be getting a review from me on their social media. Photos to follow.
