Very nice staff and room except it seems like they forgot to renovate the shower. This was in room 712 in 11/2025

My daughter and I were only at this location for one night, location was perfect for us. Close to campus. Not far drive to shops and restaurants. Unfortunately we didn’t get to walk around the area of the hotel.
Staff not friendly. During check in I stood unaddressed for at least 5 minutes while staff stood and waited while watched videos on his phone. Sign on counter identify that staff is away from desk and will return shortly doesn’t sit well with me when you are standing right behind desk just ignoring incoming customer.
Room size was good. Comfortable beds and pillows. Towels poor quality and once there are stains on said towels they should be retired for daily use.
Lastly, fire alarm sounds at 9am, I followed direction, exited room and went downstairs. No other guest in lobby, no one from staff offering explanation or apology for “false alarm” fire truck no where on site. Poor customer service. I immediately went back up to room, gathered my belongings and left. Should I have went to front desk and asked for some sort of compensation for inconvenience, maybe I should have or even asked for an apology or explanation.
One suggestion, customer service goes a long way! I won’t be back and likely will not give Holiday Inn’s in general my hard earned money.

As can be seen in my numerous contributions, I am quick to give praise and slow to criticize. That being said, I travel a lot and this is by far the dirtiest hotel I have ever visited. Scroll the numerous pictures from others. Visible dirt everywhere and large stains on my towels. To make matters worse, my air conditioning unit didn't work and the fire alarms went off for a full 15 minutes at 1 in the morning. Truth be told I would have gotten more sleep in my car last night. Save yourself the adventure in every sense of the word.

Stayed here this weekend for a wedding and we were incredibly disappointed with the showers and service received. Our room looked like the pictures which we were so excited about however we walked into the bathroom and the shower was a nightmare. There was a shoe print on the ground, and looked like the paint was torn off the walls and floor. Come to find out other guests on our floor and below had similar looking showers and a few refused to shower here due to how dirty and nasty they looked, us included. I see other reviews recently have said the same. When this was expressed to the staff, we were told that “of course, the bad pictures wouldn’t be posted online”. IHG, needs to be more transparent about things like this so people aren’t wasting their money and are aware of ongoing renovations to plan accordingly. In addition, the elevator on our floor only worked going up, so we had to go down a flight of steps to go down and be able to use it and there was only one working elevator in the hotel for guests to use. Key cards were faulty, kept them away from phones but still didn’t work consistently. Rooms looked great, but beware of the service and showers- the pictures online are deceiving!

One of the nasties bathrooms I’ve ever seen in a hotel. Water came out brown at first from the bath faucet. Filled out complain form, didn’t hear anything besides an automated email saying ‘we are sorry’.
