    Small rooms and dated decor. Staff is rude and not helpful. Every question asked the answer was no. Can u turn off the fireplace in the lobby as it is hot in the common area. Answer: No. Can we checkout an half hour later. Answer:no. Pool is closed for 6 months to fix but no one working on it. Exercise room is the size of a closet with no dumbbells and 1 of the 3 machines are out of order.

    I booked a room on Jan 5th and opted for the prepay option as our plans were firm. Three days later, I went to the website to add an additional room and found out the pool was closed until July 2026. Apparently it had been closed for several months already. This was not on the website when I booked the room on the 5th, and when I called the hotel, the staff agreed it was not noted and likely due to the new year rollover. I was told to contact the corporate number, which I did, but they refused to refund my prepayment even after I asked them to contact the hotel and they would verify the details. I also offered to forward my email confirmation which did not show the pool closure; they didn't care. I called the hotel back and they said they would contact corporate, but no replies. Having a pool was important to our trip as our 6 and 8 year old granddaughters couldn't wait to stay with us and swim. We've stayed at this hotel several times over the years visiting family, but sadly we will be staying elsewhere in the future. I don't deceive people and don't appreciate when it happens to me...all over $95.

    Overall my stay here was excellent! I was immediately greeted by Tracy with a warm smile and a warm welcome and got checked in right away with no problems. Hotel was VERY clean and VERY decorated for the Christmas Season, which made it a very inviting environment. Beds were very comfortable and the shower was very hot and pressurized which was nice. Breakfast was hot and fresh and had lots of options to choose from. Overall, this will be the place I stay when I come back to town. Can't say enough!
