    Staff was nice but rooms and hotel are dated. Pool was cloudy, jacuzzi jets weren't working, and the hallways smell.

    We reserved a room for a Valentines night out. As we entered the hotel lobby they were having an event with the intention of being a social gathering. What we experienced was simply put two drunk guys arguing about the qualities of hot dog vs wiener. And loudly proclaiming the south vs the north. After we entered our room and " moved in " we noticed the pull-out couch was broken and had multiple stains. The doors did not work correctly and we could not properly lock our bedroom door because it was broken. We decided it best to enjoy a nice dinner and then to use the pool ( this was the primary reason we selected this hotel ) because if you look at the website the photos look amazing. However, as you walk to the pool area the overwhelming smell of mold and wet were the first things We encountered. The hot tub was not working and had hair and other objects floating in it. The pool was a dirty green and very cold. When we finished we felt itchy and had to shower. After settling into the room we noticed the bed had not been cleaned and and bodily fluids were still left on the sheets and hair that was not our because we had not used the bed and we have blonde hair. On the plus side I called the desk and we were moved to a new room, yet that meant moving everything and relocating. The "new" room had zero hot water and an off putting smell. It was well past 3 am by this point and we just went to sleep. I feel it needs to be said that after my wife pleading with them they refunded a portion of the stay, but given the continued amount of failures I will not be booking with them anytime soon.

    Weneeded a place to stay for several weeks and chose this location. We wish we never had. The staff was expltrelu rude with the exception of Bem. The rooms are old and dated and dirty. The housekeeping is horrible. You had to ask them to do things or it wouldn't get done. The breakfast was good, bit the social hour food was barely edible. They would charge different rates at different times and would lie about what they were doing. Them the smell...awful!! It smelled like methane gas and sewer, especially at night. There were nights I would get sick from it. When I would ask about it I was toldthat they didn't know what it was. We were just ignored. The solution for the was to keep the fire doors open so more air would move. Not safe. These rooms are so old and in need of a serious update. The rooms windows are old and drafty and the their is a smell that comes from the furnace and air conditioning unit. I got very sick there and we are pretty sure it was moldy. I am feeling so much better now. Carmel is the place to stay.Is this better than an extended stay? Perhaps , but I've never stayed at one but it can't be better by much. The lobby is nice but that's about it. I would recommend the staybridge in Carmel. The staff is AMAZING. The rooms are bright,clean and so homey feeling. Please don't spend your money at the Fshwra Staybridge. It's not worth it.

    I checked out of my room at 1pm and left my Pandora bracelet above the shower head. I remembered once I got home called back at 220 and they said they did not find my bracelet and the lady that answered the phone seemed to have an attitude. We have stayed at this hotel several times even different locations but just because I know where I left my bracelet and no one was in my room but me and my husband so now it makes me feel like it was stolen because of me forgetting it. Lesson learned any jewelry that falls off in the shower step out and set it on the sink or something because no one is perfect and you can forget things. With that being said I will never stay at this location again because I feel someone is lying. Thank you

    I thought because I was paying a decent price for my room in a wealthy area I would be getting a decent experience. Nope. Many screaming unsupervised kids at the pool. One slipped and fell " ambulance was called, there was a woman passed out near the computer and printer near the lounge. The pool and hot tub are disgusting. The room is very dated. I will not be spending my money hear again.
