The room was large, with a kitchenette and small living room area. It was a very short walk to the venues we were going to. The bed was actually comfortable too!

We had two couples and two rooms. This place was great. The best part was the location and affordability given that location. Of the two rooms, one had soft and sagging mattresses. Other than that, everything was great.

Beds are uncomfortable. Blankets and pillows need upgrades. Was freezing all night long since heat cant keep up in room with high ceilings. View is not there. Its another brick building. Room is nice. Location is great. Overcharged me for room and valet parking. Watch your room fees working on getting my money back now. Breakfast was good.

I had a deeply disturbing experience at Homewood Suites by Hilton – Downtown Indianapolis involving the night audit and security staff. Around 11:30 PM, I was quietly on my phone in the lobby. I was not loud or disruptive, and there were no guests around me at the time. Security staff member Julian Eclipse approached me and rudely stated that I could not be in the lobby after midnight. When I calmly asked for the written policy supporting this, none was provided. I then spoke with the night audit employee, Kathy, to report the security guard’s rude behavior and to again request the written policy. Instead of handling this professionally, she falsely accused me of yelling, which I did not do, and said she wanted me removed from the property. To avoid escalation, I left the lobby and went to my hotel floor hallway while continuing a quiet phone call. The security guard followed me to my floor, spoke to me rudely again, and instructed me to go back into my room. When I asked him to leave me alone, he did not comply. Only after I said I would wake my husband to speak with him did he apologize and leave. I then called the front desk once to request the staff names for documentation. Again, names were refused, and I was told I would be removed from the property. Approximately 10 minutes later, four police officers arrived. I was given false and conflicting explanations for why police were called, including that I was “distressed” or that I “kept calling the front desk.” Neither was true. The police confirmed that I had not violated any law or hotel policy and did not remove me from the hotel. After checking out, I contacted Hilton corporate in good faith to resolve this matter. Instead of receiving an apology, I was again accused of behavior that never occurred, despite the police confirming no wrongdoing. This experience raises serious concerns about Hilton’s stated commitment to addressing discrimination and ADA-related matters, especially when a guest is mischaracterized rather than supported. The lack of accountability at both the property and corporate level is deeply troubling.
