As a long-term Hilton Honors member, I was disappointed that this Hilton Garden Inn didn’t quite meet the brand standards I’ve come to expect. The entrance and lobby area looked nicely updated, but once you get to the rooms and hallways, the atmosphere shifts back to the late ’90s or early 2000s. The carpet in my room looked distressed, and the hallways on the guest floors also felt outdated. Breakfast and dinner weren’t included, with only complimentary coffee and water available. The fitness center’s AC wasn’t working, and rather than fixing it, they now share access with the Home2 Suites next door — or call it a “hot yoga” experience, which isn’t a real solution. On a positive note, the employees were excellent — friendly, helpful, and professional. However, the front desk attire was surprising, as many wore scrub tops, giving a less polished impression than expected at a Hilton property. Some could also be seen spending more times on their phones at desk sitting down rather then more attention to detail of customer service. Overall, this location has great staff but could use some much-needed updates and a review of standards and maintenance to match the Hilton Garden Inn brand or the Hilton promise. I suppose in the future I just have to spend more to expect better which shouldn't be the case.
