I stayed at this hotel in July. It was REALLY bad. Had I not been traveling with family also booked there, I would have left. The room had bugs, the elevator did not feel safe, and housekeeping made us leave our room to clean, after we had been gone all day, only to NOT clean our room and leave our towels on the floor. More than one of my family members had leaks in their rooms. I'm a Hilton person but they should be ashamed of this hotel.

My stay at Embassy Suites Indy North was extremely disappointing. The room was not properly cleaned—there was hair in the bathroom, and the toilet was visibly dirty, which is unacceptable. Several pieces of furniture would not stay shut, and the thermostat could not be adjusted, making the room uncomfortable. The building itself feels very outdated and poorly maintained. At check-in, the front desk associate was busy on her phone and did not acknowledge or greet us, which made the experience feel unprofessional from the start. Breakfast staff were attentive and polite, but the food quality did not meet the standards I normally expect from a Hilton property. Overall, this location fell far below expectations, and I would not recommend staying here.

I want to be fair in this review, which is why it’s important to say that our first night was great. Things were calm, the atmosphere felt welcoming, and we genuinely thought we had chosen the right place for our family. Unfortunately, everything changed after that. Unruly guests were allowed to take over common areas with no visible effort to manage behavior or enforce basic rules. The elevators were frequently out of service, which quickly became more than an inconvenience—especially during a medical emergency. When concerns were raised, the responses we received felt minimal and reactive, not supportive or solution-focused. The most troubling part of this stay involves serious safety issues. My son was almost drowned in the pool due to a complete lack of oversight and control. As a parent, that moment was terrifying and something I will never forget. During a separate medical emergency, my mother was pushed down the stairs. With elevators not functioning and little staff assistance, an already stressful situation became dangerous. What made this even harder was how little empathy or accountability we felt afterward. There was no real effort to make things right or to ensure we felt safe for the remainder of our stay. It felt like the minimum was done simply to move past the situation, not to care for the people involved. It’s incredibly disappointing when a stay that starts off so well ends this way. Hotels should be places where families feel safe and supported. We left feeling shaken, stressed, and let down. I cannot recommend this property—especially to families or those traveling with children or elderly relatives—until serious improvements are made in guest management, safety, and basic operations.

I love the Embassy Suites brand but was very disappointed with my stay in Indianapolis. I understand that the hotel can’t tell folks how to parent but they should be able to provide some enforcement so that they maintain a safe environment for other guests. There were kids running around all over the hotel. They were knocking on doors and running off, yelling, pushing all the buttons in the elevator, and making it just an unenjoyable experience. What’s especially disheartening is that there was a medical emergency and because the kids messed with the elevator, the family had a hard time getting to their member. When the hotel front desk were told about this they said there was nothing they could do and just acted unconcerned. Again, I know you can’t tell parents what to do but some effort in at least trying to enforce rules and at least act as though you care for your other patrons should be priority.

I stayed at this location and first let me say the staff was wonder Angela at the front desk deserves a raise!!!! She was so kind and understanding and handling the chaos VERY WELL. The bartender Bryce was great friendly fast and efficient. The one star rating comes in from the stay experience due to other guest. It was terrible!!! At least 30 kids had taken over the hotel. They were running up and down the halls, pushing all the buttons in the elevator causing long elevator wait times. Spilling food and drinks in the elevator and common areas. The hotel made an announcement for them to go to their rooms. Then they were outside on the balcony yelling. They woke me up multiple times. Paying $170 a night this is not the experience I expect at a hotel. This is not Motel 6. I honestly felt sorry for the staff dealing with this but if people refuse to keep their kids under control they should be made to leave and not make the other guest suffer.
