What should have been a simple hotel stay turned into a stressful and frustrating experience. Our truck was broken into overnight, and the radio was stolen—a violation that immediately put a dark cloud over our visit.
What made this situation worse was the complete lack of empathy from hotel management. When we reported the incident, the manager’s response was dismissive and indifferent. We were told there were no security cameras, followed by the quote:
“The owner decided that, not me.”
The message was clear: not their problem.
Even more alarming was the tone of the conversation—it sounded like vehicle break-ins happen frequently here, yet no meaningful security measures are in place and no concern was shown for guest safety.
A hotel should be a place where you feel secure and supported when something goes wrong. Unfortunately, this Candlewood Suites offered neither. Between the theft, the lack of surveillance, and management’s cold response, this is not a place I would recommend or return to.

my experience here was absolutely horrible, i hate that i even have to write a review like this but this needs to get handled with authority asap! me and my family were staying on 8111 bash st at the candlewood suites for 31 days, we are going through a remodel so we wanted to go somewhere we knew was nice and clean, for the price we got 2000 for 31 days and after the 31 days your tax’s are exempt so we ended up staying 3 extra days so that would make it 34 days we stayed at this hotel. before this, we had another option and much cheaper option for another hotel but we chose this hotel because of the hot tub/pool. after staying only 2 nights the hot tub/pool was closed from the health dpt for the rest of the duration we was there, so payed for amenities that wasn’t even used. we complained and said things multiple times about the hot tub/pool and all we were told was “maintenance will be here tomorrow to get it fixed”. this business of conduct is absolutely horrible especially being a hotel!! during the duration, we stayed there we were told that the Assistant manager was the running manager so anytime that we had a problem, We was calling Lori instead of the actual owner of the building, which was completely caused by the front staff members. Also, I thought to put in there this hotel being in fishers Indiana, And with the quality of this hotel, I could go to Indianapolis and get a better one. Fishers Indiana is not for the cheap so to have this kind of review in an area like this is a shame. i’ve not only seen bugs but throughout the hotel there was rancid smells and especially on the First floor it smelled like cat litter and cats awfully. One last thing I definitely need to put in here we had a friend come and visit us while staying at this hotel and with our friend she has a service dog that she takes everywhere with her, she goes into the store, restaurants, absolutely anywhere and she’s never been declined service or Or told she can’t go in somewhere with her dog. While she was staying with us for I believe two or three nights we were being called at 11-12 o’clock at night, which is very unprofessional and being told that this dog cannot be here because it is a pitbull (she is a mastiff) and does not meet the requirements of the service dogs listed within their building. they said the only accepted small dogs, 100% verbatim what I was told. I sure hope that if anybody else decides to stay here that they will never show the same experience that they had with my family. I meant what I said when I told those front staff people and the running manager that I would be leaving a great review for you and your hotel and this is exactly what I meant so I hope with anybody that’s reading this and has the common courtesy To not want to waste your money coming here if you wanna go somewhere better that’s worthy of you’re time and money go to Embassy suites and you’ll never forget your time there or ever have a bad complaint! At least Holiday Inn has better staff and management!

Hot tub and pool completely closed. No notice ahead of time.Agyer traveling hrs.
Showers cold. Notices clearly state they will except cash deposits until. JAN 1ST 2026.That is false we had to go in middle of night add $ to card just to have a room.We had no time to cancel or rebook else where or our kids would be put in the cold last night. We paid almost 400 for 4 nights. We are checking out tomorrow. No refund or discount Will be given for the 2 reminding days we have booked. Staff GM pretty friendly but was not at all apologetic or offer any compensation for the bad deal we got.Kids were disappointed tremendously not to have pool or hot tub. Lesson learned.I just warn others. Also,be leary booking through hptels.com. They are very misleading and hard to deal with.

We checked in very late at of driving in town for the IU/Ohio state game, and despite the hour, Joe at the front desk was incredibly friendly and helpful. He really went above and beyond to make sure we were settled. He took the time to explain the WiFi codes and even showed us exactly how to adjust the heat in our rooms so we would be comfortable. When we came back down later realizing we didn’t have any ice, he immediately got some for us—top-notch service!
The hotel itself looks fantastic after the remodel. You can really tell the difference with the brand new TVs and the beds were super comfortable. The room was spotless, with fresh towels and a noticeably freshly stocked cupboard. It’s rare to find such a nice facility paired with such genuinely helpful staff on the night shift.
