I was not pleased. I had my 10 year old with me and he wanted to swim, couldn't swim because the water was ice cold, paid more money coming here so we could swim, but didn't get to.

I have stayed at this hotel for work so many times over the years and I recently stayed with my wife for a mini-vacation for shipshewanna.
The biggest complaint I have is the inside of this hotel needs updating. Is it clean? I would say 90% of the time yes. Is the staff friendly? I would not say they are very friendly, but they are NOT rude. Is it a fair price? Yes, for a clean room and a free breakfast, it is a good deal. Based off of my IHG travels on the east coast, I would say the breakfast an average quality breakfast (nothing to write home about).
For the people that say Goshen is in the middle of no where? You are kind of right. The other town Middleberry has a different hotel chain that has a nicer hotel, but in Middleberry there is NOTHING to do in this town. In Goshen, walk across the street and either walk around fidlers pond or find a bench and relax. Also, if you have never ventured, take a ride down to downtown goshen. They have a few good restaurants and some cool old buildings such as the courthouse.
So, for the price, it is a good deal. In general, I would love to see IHG spend some money updating the inside of the building. It is by far not worst IHG that I have been to, but is fairly far down on my best list.
