  The experience with Holiday Inn Express Fort Wayne North was extremely disappointing and handled very poorly from start to finish. My husband booked through Hotels.com and later realized the property was in the wrong city. I promptly contacted Hotels.com to see whether the reservation could be cancelled or moved to another night, but the hotel manager declined both options. As a result, He kept the reservation and drove an hour out of the way to stay at this location. Upon arrival, he was informed that the hotel had cancelled the reservation and rebooked the room to another guest because the property was full. At no point did Hotels.com show the reservation as cancelled; it remained active in their system, so he arrived expecting to check in as planned and was instead turned away. Since then, despite numerous attempts by both me and Hotels.com to reach the manager, no refund has been issued. Phone calls and emails have gone unanswered. The combination of refusing requested changes, cancelling a confirmed reservation without proper notice, denying accommodations upon arrival, and then ignoring all follow-up efforts has made this an exceptionally frustrating experience. I cannot recommend this property based on the way this situation was handled.

  Breakfast was below what other HIE.the lobby was clean pool was a ice cube was not a heated pool would of been great in the summer months but I would not recommend in winter months location was great

  Check-in wasn't good. Lady was more concerned about getting my credit card for incidentals than to explain hotel, breakfast, elevators, etc. Shower door wouldn't stay shut; water all over bathroom floor.

  I strongly recommend finding somewhere else to stay if you are in the Fort Wayne area. The General Manager has the poorest customer service I have ever experienced. Travel sports team beware, they will not work with you on play to stay reservations even when the showcase event says it is 1 day they will charge you for two. The General Manager even told a lobby full of our team parents that he could fix the issue, but he was choosing not to. I recommend avoiding all hotels owned by Fort Wayne Hotel Group LLC. The supported the general manager with his horrible service. I feel bad for the staff here, that have to work in this environment.
