  HOOD IN THE SUBURBS I was greeted with 2 fire trucks & lots of people at the front of the building just hanging out. Out of exhaustion & in an emergency due to me had been driving for 15 hrs, I checked in & was told something was going on with the elevator but everything would be good. Another guest stated that the elevator was on fire, & it was a great day for us all because we all would be getting huge discounts as she just did. I asked the attendant did I need to rebook elsewhere? She stated “NO”, everything is all good, the elevator was having issues. I then told the attendant that I had just previously had a surgery on my knee, & I could not climb many stairs. She told me that the only room they had available was on the second floor. So I took the room out of exhaustion & I limited choices. Walking to the room, through smoke filled halls & closed hall entry doors the room was just not as the photos gave from initial booking. We opened the door to a nice sized chunk of ceramic tile cracked at the entryway as we entered the room. The carpet in the room was so dirty by the time I left my socks were filthy as if I had been walking outside, which I had to toss them in the trash. The toilet leaned from side to side when sitting. Cigarette burn on the toilet. The toiletries that was supposed to be provided the body wash etc empty and the teas were not provided I had to call down to receive them. Wall heater was making a cracking sound but we needed the heat so we ran it anyway. Bathroom was disgustingly moldy, smelt OLD in room. Towel rack was broken, & overall the aesthetics of the place comparable to the photos on the website is completely different. I posted a review on Expedia & they said for me to email them so that we could talk about it. I have yet to hear from them, & I was charged an extra $6 for some unknown charge. This place is a good look on the net, but trashy coming through the doors. The only good thing about this place is that it is directly off of the highway.

  Looks dirty from the outside…. The General manager should be making rounds outside this building to make sure from the outside this hotel is in tip top shape. Shut your curtain if you are going to have a hoarding room. It is the first thing your neighbors and guest notice. Do better! This is suppose to be a nice side of town. You are presenting your hotel as it is not. First Impression are key. PS your door is stuck wide open may want to shut that unless you are inviting critters in your establishment.

  Few broken things here and there. Fitness room is in dire need of some new equipment at least for the cardio machines. The employees seem nice and helpful. The wifi is pretty terrible. I noticed I could not really connect to it in my room. However upon moving my laptop and phone closer to the door I was able to get a connection. I cancelled it though due to a warning that the network was being spoofed and the data was being directed elsewhere. I stay at hotels in multiple states year round and this was the first time I ever had my system notify me of that. First time it basically refused to even want to load the "hotel connect page". Typically I get a warning to turn on my VPN due to it being an unknown network. Its good to see the protection software I pay for kicks in to alert about the network being hacked. Do with that what you will but Hotspot only for me today and wont be staying here again.

  I was little worried looking at the reviews and 2 star hotel. But everything was perfect, check in guy was very polite. Ample of varieties in breakfast. Rooms were clean and spacious. Only thing is $6 feet if you book from 3rd party.

  Would not stay here again. Upon arrival, there was no one available for check-in. Once he arrived, he then had to leave the desk mid check-in in order to visually verify our room had actually been cleaned (hint: it wasn't). After verifying, he then notified us that we would be charged a $6 fee per night since we booked through a third party. I have never experienced a fee like this at any other hotel and I frequently use third party booking sites through my credit card rewards. On our way to the room, we passed the staff laundry room. The music they were playing was so loud that we could hear it all the way in our room. Similarly, later that night, we could hear everything in the room right next to ours- conversations, the movie they were watching, everything! This continued throughout our stay. The room itself was extremely run down. You could tell that it simply hasn't been cared for. The lock was broken on our door. Overall, I have higher expectations for a room that is $150/night.
