My rating of the hotel has nothing to do with the service received from the staff. The staff was kind, helpful and professional. The room rating and experience of the hotel is what made my overall rating so low. We were there for a sports tournament and the hotel was part of a room block for many. Knowing that the hotel would probably be to 90% or 100% capacity, why not service the elevators beforehand? I checked in on a Thursday afternoon and was told the elevators were out of service and would be out of service the entire weekend. Too much of a coincidence. I was offered bonus reward points as I do have an IHG rewards account for the inconvenience. Room is located in third floor so we made several trips up and down stairs to take luggage and necessary items, why was the stairwell at full blast with heat? It was suffocating and made it very uncomfortable to go up and down stairs. I did ask a staff member if it was possible to have the heat turned off if we had to use stairs all weekend. The heat was turned off thank goodness! The bedroom in itself was not bad, but there were too many little things that just made it a bad experience. The blackout curtains would not fully close, I had to use a clip to close the curtains. The beds were horrible, mind even had a dip on half of the bed and the other bed squeaked. I don’t know if we were located above the kitchen, but at 5am, the bathroom was inundated with breakfast smell, it was awful! Unfortunately due to the experience we lived, I cannot recommend this hotel.

After we got to the hotel checked in they gave us rooms on the third floor and then told us the elevator was broken. Should have been informed of this before we paid. Furniture is outdated and clashes with the rooms being more updated.

The room was clean and very nice. The night audit guy (11pm), when I checked in was not very friendly. Perhaps because he was interrupted from his movie on his phone. I wonder how he hears anything with ear buds in? Anyway, location was perfect for me, 15 mins away from where I was going. However, its been 2 weeks and there is still a $50 hold on my card for "incidentals", which is irritating. Bottom line, I will return.

DO NOT stay at this hotel. The staff is rude except for the manager Stephanie. But I was bitten by bed bugs last week (1/14/26) and wasn’t happy about it. Also never bring anything of value here because housekeeping will go through your things while you’re gone. I boobytrapped my belongings and took pictures of how I left them and my things were out of place multiple times, if you care about it leave it in your car or at home. Also if you mention your issues to the front desk everyone except for the manager (Stephanie) will act as if you’re speaking a foreign language or something, I don’t feel comfortable staying here and if it wasn’t for my job booking this place I would never stay here.
