Here is the updated review, we stayed here for 5 days and the last couple of days our room was smelling of marijuana and we told the front desk and nothing was done about it. And the rooms were so dirty and dusty. We booked a suite and inspite we got this treatment and the front desk folks here are unresponsive. This location is key for this hotel. The staff are friendly and welcoming. Hotel is neat, we booked a suite and space is good. Bathrooms could be more neater in terms of shower door. The suite room does come with a mini fridge and it doesn’t have microwave, there is a common microwave in the lobby. Currently the lobby is under renovation. Morning complimentary breakfast is good. The conference rooms are great at this location. The hotel is busier than I thought and overall it’s great.

Stayed at the holiday inn Express a week ago down the street who had a fabulous breakfast bar daily for free. At the double tree breakfast is EXPENSIVE and the first day they didn't even have the buffet bar open. No microwave in the room. The TV in the room wasn't working engineering had to come fix it. And here's the big one: they did a fire alarm test and didn't notify the hotel guests. We all ran down the stairs and on the first floor got informed it was only a test. Horrible treatment to their guests! I'm only on day 2 of a week stay and this Hilton Gold member is NOT happy!

Overall the Hotel is good. Going through some renovations downstairs. It would be nice if the breakfast wasn’t the same identical breakfast as the day before. No creativity with that whatsoever. Bed/pillows are nice! I like that!

Horrible. I had a stain on my sheets. There was a dead nat on my shower wall. There was blonde hair, dirt and dust on the bathroom floor. I did not have the do not disturb sign on the door in my room was not cleaned. I went to the front desk to tell them that and they told me they were backed up and it was 9 PM. I told him about all the other issues and they sent up housekeeping to give me new towels, new sheets, and clean my room. The housekeeping woman was outside my door with the towel bin. Inside the towel bin were dirty towels, and clean towels next to each other. In addition, she had her purse near the clean towel, which who knows where that was. I would never stay there again, and I would tell anybody else to avoid that place like the plague. Keep in mind I had to deal with this after driving seven hours from Michigan.

We are diamond status. We were not offered upgrade, given cookies, given water etc. We couldn’t use our phone key to get into the building thankfully a worker saw us and let us in. We were not offered any upgrades. The breakfast or maybe lack there of was disgusting. I was hit by the overwhelming smell of fish when I opened the container of eggs. There was 6 pieces of bacon left. The sliced fruit had more laying in the table than in the fresh fruit tray. The potatoes there was plenty. The pastries were almost completely gone. None of the hot food was even slightly warm. The table near us had biscuits and gravy they had removed from their bill because they said it was “unfit to eat”. We got back to our room and called for a late check out. We were told since we had a suite we could not have late check out cause “all the suits are always booked out”. Interesting the suit next to us is empty and has been since we got here. I clearly stated we have diamond status and was told since we have a suite we can’t have late checkout again being told the suites are always booked out. Last night at the desk we had requested late check out and told we would have to call this morning to get it, then to have this morning person tell us no. This is NOT our 1st time here. It is NOT our first suite. It is not our first time requesting late check out in a suite. So given the fact diamond status means nothing here. The food was horrific. We paid $50 for 3 cups of OJ, 6 pieces of bacon, 1 piece of sausage, and 2 spoonfuls of potatoes. McDonald’s would have been more food, less expensive, and it would have been hot and tasted much better! Our late check out was denied based on a lie from front desk stating suites are always booked out. We will not be back. We will not recommend this place to anyone.
