  Stayed April 13–16 (Confirmation #83493505) Just wanted to say this was a really solid stay. The night clerk (pretty sure her name was Elayna) and the morning front desk agent were both awesome. Super easy to talk to, helpful, and just handled things like real people instead of robots. That goes a long way when you’re traveling. Also gotta give credit to management — you can tell they actually trust their staff and give them the ability to take care of guests, especially with stuff like late checkouts. That kind of flexibility is rare and appreciated. Overall just a smooth, good experience. Would definitely come back.

  STAY AT THE GRANGER HOLIDAY INN CLOSE TO MISHAWAKA NOT HERE!! Not sure how this place has over 4stars should have read some reviews… When we arrived and found out the bathroom not clean enough with debris on the floor and hair in the shower. Plus mold on ac with an odd smell. We checked another room and the bathroom shower also had hair in shower and the ac had mold aswell. She gave us a third room and it smelled better and was a bit cleaner so we took the room. First thing we did was shower, but when I went to dry my face I was hit with a fishy smell. The towel smelled terrible. The other two towels were ok, albeit not super fresh smelling. We then decided we could not stay and she said she cancelled the reservation and we would get our money and points refunded. I just needed to call the next morning to talk to the Manager, so I called got the receptionist. She said they call back in an hour due manager was dealing with breakfast. I called back in an hour. She said the manager was still dealing with breakfast and she hadn’t had anything done with my reservation to where I can get my refund. I Specifically asked for the manager because I thought it was a little ridiculous that they would not come to the phone. She put me on hold then came back and said sorry they were busy with breakfast, and they would call me back which never happened.. It took me three days to get it all resolved. I have had situations like this before and was able to get full refunds back same day. The crazy thing was after I called the front desk two times and IHG Customer Service reaching out to the Manager to resolve the situation, they still hadn’t canceled my stay! Let’s just say I will not be going back to that hotel and I will be steering people away from staying there. Ended up staying at Granger Holiday Inn Awesome Service and clean rooms!

  Stayed here for a night on our road trip. The room was great, nice space for my family of 5. The free breakfast options were wonderful and the lady taking care of the breakfast was so kind and helpful. My only complaint was the pool. My kids were so excited to swim and the pool was FREEZING!!! Even the pool room was cold! They are Michigan kids, so they eventually did get in the water because this was the reason we chose a hotel with a pool. In the deep end the kids found worms on the bottom of the pool. The level of pool maintenance and cleanliness definitely needs to be addressed. I wanted to write a review to warn others with kids because I would have gone elsewhere if I had read this.

  We just left Holiday Inn in Elkhart. We came for a long weekend with our hockey team. The staff were exceptional! Rooms were clean and breakfast was amazing! It was probably the best hockey hotel weekend we have had in a long time!
