Experiencing temporary loss of a home due to unforeseen circumstances and was under the impression we could stay as long as we paid and we did. We were here two months and treated terribly First impression to get us here they said we would be safe and feel like a home during our time of need. I was wrong they treated my small children like nuisances, the staff constantly rolled their eyes and never greeted us even if we spoke “good morning” etc. the houskeeping department is a joke they constantly made my kids feel unwanted and never cleaned room when WE requested, the owner or general manager was just as nasty because after three weeks staying they always threatened us with sorry you wont be able to book because we booked your room to get us to leave. It was a snowstorm they threatened to kick is out in below freezing weather with the same excuse of double booking room that we were already in. We are paying customers just as the next and for them to be so unkind during a very hard time in my family life is saddening what the world has come too. Im a struggling single mother to 6 children and only 4 children were at the hotel with me . We had our own bags, vacuum and cleaning supplies always kept the room to the best of my ability. If we are paying customers then we should be welcomed to stay the length we need to stay. The only front desk lady that was always welcoming and sweet to my family was debbie (older lady, glasses) . The breakfast was great. The staff who dealt with it were nasty older ladies who never smiled or spoke even when spoken too.

I made a reservation by phone for two rooms for February 7th to February 8th. I had no problems with that, but upon arriving at the hotel, I encountered a very rude person, almost to the point of experiencing racism towards me and my family. By mistake, the reservation was in my father-in-law's name, and she practically refused to give me access to the rooms even though I presented my email confirmation and the credit card used for the reservation. After finally getting the keys, I left the hotel and when I tried to re-enter with the rest of my family, she was rude to them again because we had our pets with us. She let us in, saying there was an extra charge for the pets, a charge we were already aware of from the moment the reservation was made, and which we had already paid. Even though she had given me the two room keys just two minutes earlier, she asked me which rooms I was in, supposedly to make sure we had actually paid the extra charge for the pets... Clearly, the person in charge at that moment has no idea what good customer service is, nor does she understand that she shouldn't discriminate based on race, as her dismissive attitude clearly showed.

The check-in experience was quick and easy. The location was easy to find and had ample parking. The room was nice. The beds were really comfortable and the shower had excellent water pressure. The coffee in the room was decent, but the lobby coffee was better. The hotel was easy to find. There are no restaurants within walking distance, but several you can drive to. We used Doordash. The breakfast was pretty good and had a few hot options, oatmeal, hard boiled eggs, cereal and plenty of breads and pastries. The muffins and scones were delicious! The employee working the breakfast area was knowledgeable and very kind. We would stay there again when driving through.
