- JMJulia Mrazek5 days ago5.0We stayed here in November 2025 on our Indiana Dunes National Park trip and had a good experience. Check-in & check-out was quick and easy. Plenty of parking available. Hotel is a relatively short drive from the national park, depending on which part you're going to. Room was nice & clean, with comfortable beds. The free breakfast was good, though I would recommend going earlier in the morning rather than later so the options don't get too picked-over. View of Chubb Lake from breakfast area & lobby was very nice. There is a piano in the lobby, which was an unexpected but cool perk! Overall, a great stay at a great value!

The room, on the surface, looked nice but once you start looking around, there were stains on the lamp shades, Bible, and elsewhere around the room. The lake views (large drainage pond) weren't worth the price at all. The walls are paper thin and beds not very comfortable. There was a large group of unsupervised football players yelling, slamming doors, and knocking on our door over and over through the night. Our entire family did not get a good nights sleep, to say the least. We requested a different room, were told none were available. There are VERY ACTIVE train tracks you can hear throughout the night. Will never be staying at a Best Western ever again. Didn't stick around long enough for breakfast as we couldn't wait to leave. The only plus was it was close to a great breakfast restaurant with much needed coffee the next morning and near the sand dunes.
