⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Five Stars – Exceptional Service from Ricky!
I cannot say enough wonderful things about Ricky, the overnight staff member at this hotel. During our stay, we unfortunately had a very distressing situation where my rider had to spend the night at a hotel due to being verbally abused by her boyfriend. Ricky handled the entire situation with incredible professionalism, empathy, and calm.
He immediately stepped in with compassion, ensuring everyone’s safety and comfort. He went above and beyond to defuse the tension and to make sure the woman felt supported and protected. Afterward, he took the time to reassure and calm us down, showing genuine care and kindness that you don’t often see.
Ricky truly embodies what five-star hospitality is all about — not just great service, but great humanity. Because of him, we felt safe, respected, and deeply valued as guests. The hotel is lucky to have someone like him on their team. Thank you, Ricky, for turning a difficult situation into a reminder of what real compassion looks like.

I have stayed at plenty of great IHG locations all around the U.S.; however, this is by far the worst IHG hotel I have been to. I usually don’t write reviews, but I think that people should know, so you don’t spend your hard-earned money with a
location that doesn’t care about you staying in an unsanitary environment. Can you say poor room-cleaning standards? So, after a long day of travel, I got in, got ready for bed, and then went to sleep. The first red flag was that the toilet tissue roll was almost empty, and when I looked, there wasn’t a backup. I told myself that I would get a roll from the front desk in the morning. Upon getting dressed for work the next day, I discovered used medical bandages discarded in the shower! Instead of asking for a refund right away, I politely asked the front desk to send housekeeping to clean the room while I was gone. They assured me they would take care of it. When I returned from work that day, I found the bed remade and a box of Kleenex tissue on the floor. With an empty tissue roll and no backup. Just Kleenex! Also, the used bandage was still there! It was clear to me that the cleaning standards were nonexistent, and there was no way I was staying there another night.
To make matters worse, I approached Ricky, the front desk clerk, to check me out because I wasn’t staying in any of those rooms. He basically dismissed me, saying he couldn’t assist, and insisted that housekeeping had completed their job, despite photo evidence of the room still being unclean and not properly serviced. It’s appalling that a hotel would allow guests to sleep, shower, and use the bathroom without ensuring basic sanitation and safety standards are met. If you're comfortable staying where your hygiene and safety are compromised, you've found the right place. See pictures below.

The location is nice, backs up to a park and its quiet and safe. Rooms are large with modern grey case goods. Sheets had some stains and tears, seems like housekeeping should catch things like that. Room was clean but not spotless, some items in corners not deep cleaned. Only ice on main floor. Coffee was fresh ground but nothing special. Hard to really fault the hotel but also not great. Its an old comfort suites, renovated and reflagged so the building while freshly painted is still dated. My biggest issue was wifi would not connect on my phone or laptop, and the lighting in the room was too harsh. All the classic lamps are gone, now its LED bedside fixtures that do not cast a soft light. I got a great rate on super.com but would not pay standard rates here.
