However, they should be closed while the main floor is being done and then floor by floor during the remodel. Construction supplies and dust everywhere including the breakfast area even though it's on a different floor. Our room was on the 2nd floor. The minute the doors opened it looked like something out of the early 80's (reminded me of Three's Company TV show). The carpets were filthy and stained and everything was just really old and nasty. The only positive was the room was pretty clean. The BIGGEST issue was, I had somewhere to be in Bloomington at 11:00 a.m.. I waited from 8:00 until 10:30 and we never did get any hot water. A construction guy told us they were too cheap to buy new water heaters so he was trying to repair theirs. Before staying here, my advice would be to call the hotel direct and ask if the remodel is completed.
