    our office would book as here from time to time. the first two stays were okay. then i book a room personally this time. I was surprised the room I got smells like a funky cigarette and like clothes that didn't dry fully well, that combination. you have to ask for water and even toiletries which is a very cheap toothbrush and the toothpaste was okay. these stuff should be in the room when you come in. there was not even a napkin in the room, when i called the receptionist said, there are towels available. the next morning upon check out, I had to bring my own wet towel on my shoulder for there is not even a bag for soilee clothes. mind you this booking was way expensive than our company previous booking. at least these necessary should be available. come that morning, the free breakfast were burned bacon which taste so bad, burnt but very limp, the waffle, instead of making it yourself, it's in a bag that is being dispensed by an equipment, I don't what it's cold. it is so thick to eat even though it was very thin. I feel it's not even worth the price. compared to other hotels around the area which is more affordable. what is happening. to Holiday Inn, is a sad thing. it used to be THE Holiday Inn.

    Nice budget hotel. Rooms are clean and well furnished. Rooms have a mini fridge and microwave which is greatly appreciated. Excellent staff service as we had just missed the breakfast service time and they were nice enough to grab muffins for us.

    I had a very disappointing and upsetting experience staying here. Unfortunately, there were bedbugs in the room, and the overall condition was extremely nasty and unclean. Cleanliness is the bare minimum expectation when booking a place to stay, and this property failed to meet that standard. Because of the bedbugs, we were unable to stay the night and had to leave immediately. It was stressful and completely unacceptable. To make matters worse, we were not given a refund, despite not being able to stay due to the condition of the room. I do want to mention that the front desk staff were nice and polite during the interaction, which I appreciated. However, the situation itself was not handled appropriately. I strongly urge management to address these serious cleanliness issues before allowing other guests to check in. Unfortunately, I would not stay here again and cannot recommend this location.

    When I first made reservation on February 3,I received a confirmation email For that reservation. However, when my six-year-old son and I went to check in, (we were supposed to be three but my husband had the flu) we were told our reservation had been canceled due to our card being declined. I’m trying to figure what the process is of being notified that a reservation has been canceled. So this does not happen again. I had no notification of this cancellation. I checked my spam folder as well as my regular folder. When I texted the general customer service office, on the contact us link, after a long back-and-forth, they said to call the hotel directly because it had been canceled on the hotel’s end. When I attempted to call the recommended number and gave my original reservation number, it said that my reservation was fine. However, it then also dropped my call. I called into the Bedford Holiday Inn, and got the AI-Bot Jolene. I was given general information about checking spam folders and such. I attempted to call the customer service line, that she’d given me but it was the same one that I had tried in my second attempt to talk to somebody about our issue. I tried to put the old reservation number in several times, however, it kept dropping my call. After the fourth time I’ve given up and I am now writing this review. I would like to have been able to send an email or leave a voicemail somewhere. However, I don’t know how I can actually contact someone in hotel management so that I can speak with them later and figure out how this does not happen again. At the end of the day, they did have a room for us, however, it was at a higher rate. And… my son was crushed because the pool was closed and will be closed for our entire stay. If I have been notified that my credit card had been declined, And they were canceling my reservation, I could have fixed it instead of showing up with my child in tow and having no room reservation. It’s been a tough couple of weeks, I really did not need this. To be fair, this is our third stay. And we did not have issues on the other stays. Breakfast and the rooms are wonderful. I just wish that they had better customer service and at least someway to leave a message so that I could talk to a real person during regular business hours.
