- LBLin BaxDec 8, 20251.0Horrible customer service. I booked a room at Hampton Inn Avon, IN, via booking.com and paid online 7/13/2025. When I arrived at the hotel I was told they did not receive payment for the room. I told the front desk that I already paid, they assured me that I would not be double charged so I gave them my credit card. The next day, my account showed two charges. I called the hotel explained what happened and was assured any payment was a hold and will fall away. I contacted booking.com several times and provided statements showing the payments which they have sent to the hotel. 5 months later and I am still waiting for my refund.

I was a bit worried because there was tractor-trailer parking advertised near the hotel but there was plenty of parking. View from the room was nice. Entire hotel was clean and tidy.
