  Jada and Chelsea turned around a rough start and made it enjoyable. They were short handed, but there was absolutely no impact to service. Though busy, both ladies made me feel attended to and taken care of. The food was great, and the coffee fantastic. Thank you both for a great experience!

  My room was awful. Carpet ripped up- tub stained with who knows what. If ever have to go to Springfield- don’t stay here. Unless you want the nostalgia of staying at a hotel that was once grand. It’s now just a dump.

  Quality hotel & spacious, clean room. Bed was too soft for my taste & my back hurt all day because of it. Quick check in on 2nd floor. Wish I had taken the time to check out the massage chairs on the first floor. Escalator up was not working so had to contend with waiting with many others for elevators which were quick. A bit too far from State Capitol & State museum for my preference but it was ur group hotel. Next time I’ll stay closer but this is always a good option.

  I stayed here many years ago when it was newer. Things have changed. Let me stress every and employee I met was absolutely fantastic. But It seems pretty outdated, you can see it all over the place. Carpet looks like it's never been changed, the rooms are beat up. There's a smell from the room. The inside of each elevator looks like a beat up freight elevator. The escalator down to the first floor was out of service, on the floor I stayed on one of the elevators was blocked off. No no complimentary coffee or tea like a lot of other hotels. 17.00 buffet or a $13 continental breakfast. Unless it's included in your room rate. Seems like it's one of the only games in town so that's why it can charge money. In the common areas the ancillary furniture seemed beat up.

  The staff are very friendly and the room was pleasant but the hotel is always facing issues with the elevators and the escalators and for a 14 story building hotel and event center there is not nearly enough elevators. I have stayed here 4 years in a row and every year there has been atleast one elevator broken down. Also the elevators had expired safety certification
