  OUR ROOM TODAY HAS NO HEATER THEY JUST GAVE US A STANDING HEATER THAT NOT EVEN DOING ANYTHING. MICROWAVE IS NOT WORKING ! KEURIG NOT WORKING.! THE CURTAIN SO DIRTY LIKE HAS A SLOB! THE CARPET IS DIRTY! THE WORST PART IS THE SERVICE! I WENT TO ASK HOT WATER THE STAFF IS SAYING HE IS BUSY CANNOT GET ME HOT WATER THE FRONT DESK PEOPLE WERE NOT ACCOMMODATING! BEING A PLATINUM ELITE FOR IHG IS NOT REALLY A BIG DEAL BECAUSE THEY DON’t CARE IF U R! IF ONLY THE CONVENTION IS NOT IN THIS HOTEL I WILL NEVER STAY HERE! IF THERE IS A “0” STAR, that is this HOTEL!! OVERALL!!

  Booked this place for a short weekend break. The reservation details were confirmed quickly at the front desk. I appreciated how the staff handled guest requests without unnecessary delays. Overall service felt structured and dependable.

  I had a great stay at this hotel last week. The room was very nice. It was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The hotel itself is pretty large, which made it feel upscale and spacious without feeling crowded. One of my favorite parts was having a Bar Louie onsite. I went there for happy hour, and it was super convenient not having to leave the hotel. Another huge plus was the free parking, which is such a bonus and not always easy to find. The only downside was that the room felt very cold during my stay. Even though the thermostat read 75 degrees, I couldn’t seem to get the room to warm up. Overall, I had a positive experience and would consider staying here again, especially for the convenience and amenities.

  It was so terrible I wish I could give negative stars. The staff was very un-interested in helping what so ever. I went to take a shower 2 hours before check out & my water was freezing cold!! Obviously I went to the front desk & the maintenance man didn’t show up until 30 minutes to check out hence I already showered in the cold water !! They do not answer the phone & if you wanted to use the hot tub it’s run by 6-8 KIDS at all times. My coffee machine inside my room did not work, the tv wasn’t even hooked up to cable nor could you log in to any subs. They make you pay a $50 fee when you check in that’s promised back to you, don’t count on that or a partial refund. I could go onnn. Please don’t try to save a buck with this place splurge on a nicer place that actually cares about their customers.

  Ansas was extremely helpful during our stay. He allowed us to check in early and worked with me regarding some circumstances prior to arrival, which I genuinely appreciated. Unfortunately, there were maintenance issues that should have been addressed before the room was marked ready. The shower drain was significantly clogged, causing approximately three inches of standing water during use. While the water pressure itself was excellent, an overflowing shower is not an acceptable condition for a guest room. My girlfriend and I left for lunch around 12:45–1:30 PM on February 14, 2026 (Valentine’s Day) and specifically called the front desk requesting additional towels and that the clogged drain be fixed while we were out. When we returned several hours later to prepare for our dinner plans in Chicago, neither issue had been addressed. After waiting approximately four hours, I went down to the front desk and spoke with the next shift that had come in around 3 PM. Eventually, two towels were placed in the room and the drain was cleared, but it felt like a struggle to have basic requests handled , especially for issues that should have been resolved before check-in. Additionally, the property’s indoor atrium pool area can be extremely loud. If your room is located near the pool, it may be difficult to rest during the day due to noise from children. The hotel itself is large and has a lot of potential , the open atrium concept is visually appealing but the overall experience did not meet expectations. I typically enjoy Holiday Inn Express properties, but I likely will not return to this specific location. In hindsight, booking through a third-party site to save money may not have been the best choice. Sometimes paying a little more truly does make a difference in overall experience.
