We had an amazing time at LEGOLAND ! There are so many activities for kids - playground areas, a cinema, fun attractions, and even a train ride. My kids had so much fun and are already asking to go back again. Definitely worth visiting!

wouldnt let two 18 year olds in, understood if it was two suspicious 30 year old men but it was just me and my boyfriend trying to enjoy our 18th birthdays, truly disappointing i remember going as a child, brought our money to woodfeild mall instead!!!

Worth a one-time visit, but you'll be hard pressed to find reasons to come back. There are neat permanent displays, and a cool ride or two, but all the "free build" areas are essentially useless: there's so many niche pieces or such a lack of pieces you can't actually build a thing. The closest you'll get to your kid building something and having fun is the racetrack/jump station. But even that is near impossible as there are literally not enough pieces to build a four wheeled car to have fun with. And if there are loads of kids forget about it: there are enough non-broken pieces to build maybe one or two complete cars for everyone. If there's a bunch of visitors, your kid will just get frustrated that they can build anything. It's basically a small Lego store with some over priced experiences behind it. I wish they did more because the core product and theme is obviously a great one.

The **LEGOLAND Discovery Center** in Schaumburg, Illinois (often called the Chicago one), is a decent spot for young LEGO fans, but it falls short of being exceptional. We visited with our 5- and 7-year-old kids, who loved spotting the impressive **Miniland** replica of downtown Chicago built entirely from bricks—it was a highlight and felt magical.
The 4D cinema was fun with its short LEGO-themed show, and the Kingdom Quest ride provided a mild thrill without being too intense. Build zones let the kids create freely, though the areas felt cramped when busier, with limited pieces and space for only a handful of kids at a time.
On the downside, the place seemed a bit dated and crowded on a weekend, leading to long waits for popular spots. Some attractions felt repetitive or simplistic, better suited for preschoolers than older elementary kids. Staff were friendly enough, but the overall value felt meh for the ticket price—we stayed about 2.5 hours before the kids were ready to leave.
It's a solid 3-star experience: enjoyable for little ones obsessed with LEGO, but don't expect a full-day adventure. Good for a rainy afternoon, but pair it with nearby shopping or other activities to make the trip worthwhile. Thank you

Finde leider Preis Leistungsverhältnis nicht passend. Sehr wenige Legofiguren ausgestellt. Für die virtual Reality zahlt man Aufpreis.Inkludiert sind eine Bahnfahrt wo man mit einer Pistole Ziele treffen muss und eine Art Karussell.
