Very underwhelming, half the lego displays aren't even made out of 100% legos which is kinda lazy if you ask me. Also, a great spot for your kid to pick up a virus. You got hundreds of kids in a spot that fits maybe thirty people tops. Half of them more then likely have colds/sick playing with tons of small Legos at multiple build stations. I didn't see anyone sanitizing or replacing the legos between kids. Also couldn't even touch anything because of how busy it was, no one moves or let's you take part. My kid and I were sick for like 3 days after going here for 100+ dollars. Cant wait to go back, never!

Meh. I should have read the reviews. Stopped in because my daughter saw it before we went to Woodfield Mall. Underwhelming and money grab. Definitely not worth $30 a person. Maybe $5. Sad! She was disappointed to say the least. Everyone is right, 3 and under and DO NOT GO ON A WEEKEND. They let in wayyy too many kids. My daughter was not willing to wait an hour to do the minimal activities. It resembled a mall kids play zone. She is 10 and just said, "I'm sorry mom.. can we just go" after about 15-20 min. We should have just took that $100 and got her a nice set from the mall.

The museum opens with an extraordinary LEGO skyline of Chicago — clever, detailed, and absolutely stunning. Unfortunately, the rest is really only appropriate for kids six and under. The exhibits are small for the price, many displays are dusty on top (some even vandalized), and the staff seemed disengaged. In the end, it comes across less like a museum and more like a glorified retail setup to sell LEGO sets. The Chicago scene is incredible — but everything beyond it needs real care and improvement.

very cool displays, a few rides/activities, this attraction is geared more toward Elementary school-aged children/young families. Snack bar prices on par with Starbucks (which they serve). 2 levels, yes, there's an elevator, yes, this place is handicapped accessible. Attached shop has good variety, normal prices for Lego sets. This attraction appears much larger on the website and Google than it is actually is. I took my 16 year old and bought the least expensive passes (no rides, movies, etc) and we were in and out in less than an hour, an that's with stopping for bathroom break, photo ops, and just checking stuff out. Families and visitors with younger kids will definitely get more bang for their buck, here! such visitors can probably expect to spend a few hours here. no adults admitted without being accompanied by at least one child aged 17 or younger.

Our visit on 12-23-2025 was a massive disappointment and poor value for the price. Its EXPENSIVE for kids ($41.99 for entrance, VR experience, minifig, digital photo) and then they force the accompanying adult to pay $29.99 only to find the facility dirty and neglected! Save your time, money and headache...there are better place to experience LEGO. The photos are from roughly 3p CT on 12-23-2025...there is no excuse for visible garbage stuck in chairs, chairs that look they haven't been cleaned/replaced since the place originally opened, noticeable piles of hair and dust in the corners like they have never had a cleaning service in there, and steps that are worn. My kid doesn't understand these issues, but as an adult, this is a reflection of management. It's a shame because the LEGO brand deserves better representation than this place. Save your money and go to a standard LEGO store or other brick/minifig local store. I am also sending this review as an email to LEGO to express my concern of the lack of caring for their brand image.
