In my personal opinion, I had a great experience! We chose this hotel because it was super close to where we went out for dinner (Outback Steakhouse) and the Woodfield Mall. Upon arrival the guy at the front desk was super friendly! He made sure we have everything we needed. During the night I heard no noise. In the morning- despite that i woke up 17 minutes before breakfast closing, the staff was super friendly and understanding. She showed me where everything was and even gave me a tray to take my breakfast to my room with me. Everything was great and I woulf definitely come back!

Perfect for business travelers. This Home2Suites is newer so everything works. The rooms are spacious and feel like mini apartments. The staff here are kind and friendly and eager to assist. One small nuisance with my room, (and it is in every Home2Suites with a Danby refrigerator) Danby refrigerators are loud and they make a knocking sound that replicates someone at your door. I got fooled twice, but now I know what the noise is. It’s especially unnerving when it happens during the middle of the night. Additionally, Home2Suites are very popular, so there is a lot of usage on these rooms. The materials used and the furniture do not look like they will hold up over time. I trust Hilton will not let these rooms become weathered and beaten like they have in the Hampton Inn chain. Highly recommended for the business traveler

The night shift staff was unfriendly and acted as if you were a nuisance if you stopped at the front desk. My first time down she took well over 5 minutes to come out as she was busy eating behind the glass. The room wasn't cleaned well. Many many hairs in the bathroom. One packet of dishwasher soap and no dishsoap to wash dishes. No conditioner in the shower which I discovered while in the shower. Very loud guests above us running. Pool was cold. Breakfast wasn't available until 6:30 so we had to miss the first day. Second day my family could eat but they had zero gluten free options so I had to skip it. I asked about late check out as we were in town for a soccer tournament so I was hoping to stay an extra 2 hours as a Hilton member and pay a fee and was told I could not because they were short housekeepers. And for an additional 2 hours I would have to pay for an entire night. I would skip this hotel in the future. The positive was the location in Schaumburg near the mall and dining.
